Good company to work for with good perks

I worked in this company for couple of years, it is a call center base company in Mississauga. It is a busy call center office environment with lots of support from management, and on going meetings to improve customer related inquiries.

The office environment if fun with lots of games in the lunch room area, such as pool table, Foosball, arcade and many more.

There is some workshops during the year where you get to volunteer for a good cause.

Overall I would recommend this company.

Good location and very modern nice space.
Great people and collaborative teams.
Innovative and up to date with technology.
On a typical day you start with stand up with your team and everyone talks about the tasks they work on today and worked on yesterday and the obstacles. Then the team members help each other if they are able to remove the obstacle for any other team member. Pairing and mobbing sometimes to finish the tasks other times going on their own to do the task individually.
There are meetings to do refinement, retro and communication to upper team which consists on business people and development team as a sub- team. Any missing requirements, documents will be requested and collected from business people.

I've worked at a couple different companies in Toronto and LoyaltyOne is by far the best! They really care about their employees and constantly show appreciation whether it comes from management or various recognition initiatives (free coffees, air miles, "Loyalty" days, etc.). Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to grow your career and meet some great people!

free coffee/tea/snacks everyday, subsidized food in a private bistro, free days off a part from vacation (called Loyalty days), summer hours, wellness studio, massage therapist onsite, scholarship program, health and wellness subsidy, etc. etc.

This company is no longer like it used to be. No more is it about the culture or people.

The loyalty program is significantly de-valued as top management lacks quality and cares only about themselves and how much profits they can scam from their collectors and sponsors or how much costs they can reduce from their suppliers. Their business practices are borderline ethical. They feed you the koolaid by throwing fancy parties and serving free beer on Fridays but anyone who has a conscience will not want to work here.

Over the last 2 years, 80% of the people they have terminated are high seniority associates who have given 15-20+ years into the company. The remaining 20% turnover doesn't stay longer than 2 years.

Ironically, Loyalty means nothing to them.
