From when I started answering email to when I stopped each day was about 10 hours during average workflow. This time increases when projects ramp up.
The ability to work remotely is currently up in the air, the infrastructure is definitely there to support it. Certain areas of the company are actively pushing back on remote work despite the benefits to the client and employee (specifically with regards to work/life balance which is a core pillar of the company).
This seems to be the opposite philosophy from the CEO who seems to support remote work as a viable option.
