Clueless management

Management always sides with the customers even if they were wrong. They always change the store layout too. Degrading you is what they tend to do to lower level employees

Decent Part-time Work

It's a decent place to work a few hours per week as a student, but there are not enough full-time opportunities to go around, and the wages have not kept up with the cost of living.

No working hours

Not a lot of working hours, been six months since i was hired but haven't been given any shift. They prioritize their senior staff only over part time

Pay

Poor sales condition for earning. A 100% commission job should have a great glossary of customers for outbound calls. It's unfortunately not so. The customer database is hardly refreshed and in the end delivers irate prospective customers because they have been called too many times.

Manager literally did nothing, relying on staff. As a staff member, as I took initiative and got things done, manager felt I was noticeably overshadowing them.

an "OK" experience if it is your first job

The team is doing its best but the management is falling behind. Managers should spend their time "managing" instead of doing clerk's job, because there is a lot of things that needs to be worked on.

Overworked and underpayed

This company is not good to work for, the management gives more tasks than are possible to complete in the time frame. Staff are expected to work overtime frequently without pay, I and my coworkers were only given a $5 food voucher and thanks for last minute overtime when I worked there. As well, the store was very unsanitary and there was frequently rotting food on the shelves

Great work life and compensation nothing to note it’s nicer than other chains and pretty accomadating for shifts and such including students or unversity students

Its an okay job, pay wasnt that great and with increasing cost of living in toronto its just not enough to survive, and they dont really value you that much unless your at the franchisee level.

No formal Training

- Need more training from senior- old system- management cannot help the employee, if someone dump the work to you- culture is okay- no OT pay- some turnover situation

Fine Job, intense for the pay

it was fine. A paycheck is a paycheck. They kind of have you under a microscope which is wild for the pay. Join the back if you're looking to move up. Customers are so rude lmao.

The managers are nice. All people working there are very friendly. There’s diversity. job here is stress-free. Pay is better than the other retail places

Great people, subpar management

amazing if you are paired with great coworkers but dont expect certain support systems because its everyone for themselves as in the employees have little room to complain
