Stressful, demotivating and not worth for the pay rate

What is the best part of working at the company?Flexible timing and flexible location. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Legal complications of stringent company protocolWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Loblaws enforced 4 core values in work culture : care , ownership, respect and excellence. Unfortunately, this is rarely practised by employees. Employees dont care about it. The store cafeteria is a small room of size 100 square feet. Every one must do every job. What is a typical day like for you at the company?A day starts with clocking in mobile app. Employee walks around aisles and carry out the duties. There is confusing reporting system. One has to report to store manager, store Owner and Company manager at same time. However, the customer is final authority.

Learned a lot

It was fun typing police reports. Management is quite awful and will look for ways to get rid of you. recorded footage of shop lifters and gave them to the manager.

A place to learn and develop, but not grow

Loblaws has a very distinct work culture. Their focus is on reliability and consistency across all job demographics.Roles are clearly defined, but there is also substantial flexibility in what you do. Loblaws seems to prefer hiring external candidates rather than developing internal ones, and seniority is prioritized when internal hirings are done.
