Department managers routinely expected to work 12 hours despite only being paid 8.
Depending on department, hours will vary any time on a 24 hour clock.
28 hours per week
For front end its whenever you are scheduled. I was there a year before I learned that the person doing the schedule didnt have the right to change it on the last day before the new schedule. Be mindful of this and check with your union because its stressful to balance another job or school when your scheduled whenever and it's up to you to log on to look daily for changes. One week you can have 8 hours and the next 30. Its wildly inconsistent. Expect to be made to feel you are owned by Loblaws and must be available full time for a barely part time job with no benefits.
