A great school for bullies
Project Management (Employé actuel) – Montréal, QC – 28 janvier 2016
A typical day of work might either include a micromanager breathing on your neck and sending over 15 emails for the same topic or an absolutely indifferent manager who doesn't even know your name. I learnt that no matter how unprofessional the attitude is, no one, and I mean not even the HR will do absolutely anything to make things better.
There are no salary augmentations, no bonus, no coaching to learn new things. The evaluation when they are bad are asked to be rewritten to match the bell. You are a slave of the customer, not there to help, improve or even show them new options. No. You just shut your mouth and move files.
There are people who spend their whole day in Facebook, over the phone talking or chatting and in the kitchen. Then there is a small group who has all the client's, responsibilities, workload, stress and no help.
You will be asked to lie on your timesheet to hide the level of occupancy. In the last year, two different county managers left their post. Over the past five months, some people have had four different managers. The organization changes every single day and you have no idea where the business is going.

oh, yes wait, they won't be there anymore: moving to Brossard
