By far the best work culture I have ever experienced, can't wait to continue to grow with the company.

Minimal Room for Growth

Working hours are good so it’s a solid work life balance 7-4 or 7-330 almost every day. Learned a lot of basics most information is gate kept and as odd as it sounds, even if you’re proficient and exceeding you’re held back waiting on the previous hire as knowledge is based off seniority here. Management is non existent. They’re only there if you don’t submit your time sheets or Rogers has been getting complaints. The culture here is similar to high school. Once a Rogers employee shows up on site the show begins and rules are followed. Once Rogers leaves and you’re at a new location “safety” is out the door again. Raises are based 50% off of work ethic 50% of brown nosing. Great place to start and get some basics but not a place to stay. It is a job not a career.

Good place to start your telecom career

Honestly not a bad company to start with. There is no wage structure so everybody makes a different rate. Benefits are ok at best. RRSP are ok as well. Some newer equipment and some tired equipment like most companies. Management can be difficult cause there is no communications between the worker or the management. Link On is like high school except with older people. Lot of gossip and arguing between co workers.

Piece work, dictatorship and your are just a number. Customers top priority always. No matter its raining, hot or cold you have to finish the work alone.

managers are terrible, ,mocked infront of other employees, push to work 3 shifts in a row,(days nights then days again) told you will be rewarded for hard work, never are...parts were hard to get for repairs, told to search through scrap equipment to find replacement parts. $1 a year raise, this was 5-8 years ago, hope it has improved.

Fun and learning environment

Good company for start in this field. Piece work. Some time slow work. But overall of things to learn here. Better than some basic jobs. You can apply many places once you get experience with them.

Poor pay, pay as peace work. You don’t work you don’t get pay. Don’t work for long time. More and more extra works been required. Very stressful working environment .

Great workplace

Best telecom company to work for in the gta. Pay is really good especially if you stay there for a couple years. Benefits are also good and they have an rrsp matching program. Highly recommend.

+Good place to work

I worked at Link-On for couple of years. I gained very valuable experience while working there. I was heard by the management and my immediate supervisor. They were helpful and supportive. I moved on in my career but Link-On helped me and provided me solid platform. 100% recommended if you are a hard worker.

Don’t like to work here

Here main manager have good ego in it, if contract didn’t say but still if you quite before they say they will charge you money for that. Also team lead are very rude some of them are nice to work with but other all are bad.
