. I really enjoyed working for Ledcor, and I would work there again if the opportunity presented itself. Good environment, great people for the most part. My reason for leaving was lack of opportunity to advance or learn different aspect of the QA/QC field when I was there. As welder there it was great and never had an issue. To be honest the only reason I ever left was when I was QA/QC and I felt I was not learning anymore. 9.8 out of 10 for me
Great work enviroment.
Went from 4-10's to 5-8's in the shop.
I like work with ledcor, pay very good , relax, safety but they sent me to remote place and the problem i have a baby, if i'm single, i would like to stay with ledcor.
Pay good, free accommodation

Good team work and great communication between the different trades. Heat was an issue and at times it was unbearable and hard to complete tasks but management would give us as much time for micro breaks and cool downs. I worked with grinders and rotating equipment everyday. Knowledgeable in electrical circuits and troubleshooting welding machines. Familiar with awkward positioning to weld metal components together. Use of everyday welding tools, squares, levels straight edges, center hole punches drawing and blueprint knowledge. Understanding the basics of pipe ratings connections and fittings. It was a great experience for me and I wish the job had lasted longer but project came to an end. I would definitely for these
great team to wok with. overal great management
extreme heat was an issue. atmosphere a bit hectic but overal good.
Terrible leadership ,liars to employees, and to the client .This will catch up to them.mass layoff before Christmas ,some were told at the airport on there way to work, real greesy. Layoffs do to unorganized leader ship the little guy pays for it.
Pay was good and accurate
Real slimebags in key positions
we work together with respect and follow what is safe for every one no body heart. follow what is work procedure on site and safety rolls and management aware in every unsafe act to all worker reporting near miss and incident work safe and play safe.
respect company folicy
keep safe every one on site
A typical work day starts with safety meetings/toolbox talk and very importantly, stretching! After that workers are assigned to a crew where he/she is given a specific task! We are encouraged by management to work as one culture in the workplace to achieve success on the whole as a group and not as an individual! which creates a positive atmosphere! The hardest part of the job is not enough tools and other workers not showing up for work! the most enjoyable is working with people with positive attributes/attitude and showing pride in their work!
Consistent training, safety bonus'/reward
Bad road conditions driving to site
As an apprentice welder, it is hard to gain experience because there are not many jobs that do not require B pressure. You will mostly be fitting pipe or doing other laborer type tasks.
Great management and people. Great safety culture
Hard for apprentice welders to learn
Ledcor provides a safe environment to work in but is not always organized to the best of its ability and doesn't always communicate very effectively with its employees. It provides a good salary and benefits.
working for ledcor was easy because the people working there looked out for one another and you helped in any way you could. they respect you for it.
enjoyed my experiences working for ledcor and hope to continue working for them until retirement. ledcor is a company that respects their workers and does help out the workers in time off need. have been there when this was done for a few of me fellow co-workers.
we use to do pipe fabrication. I've never got any repair on my weld joint.
a typical day at work was very interesting, alot of same work over and over but thinking about going home on your days off just made everything worth while.i learned to master my ability to do overhead welding because we were welding on mostly pile caps.the management were great to deal with and could bring any situation up with them allcoworkers were really easy to get along with and to work with in the fieldthe hardest part of the job would have been lying in under piles in the mud and getting shocks from being damp but that all a part of the trade.the most enjoyable part of the job would honestly be knowing that at the end of the cycle youd be going home to spend time with your family which i havent done in 4 years prior.
camp accomaditions, payed flights
