Good wages and lots of work but safety was preached, but never followed.Never seen so many incidents on any job site.they would put people on unsafe trucks over and over again.Dangerous place to work,at least where i was up in Tumbler Ridge.Coal mining.
Good Wages, lots of work
Saftey concerns out the window.
Former chip truck driver in chilliwack, told one thing about pay and turned out total lies Dispatch sucked , would be a Walmart greeter before I ever worked there again!

a typical day at work was operating boom truck and tractor trailer and other various equipment .I learned to work with various trades. management was fair and the work culture was positive. waiting on weather. most enjoyable was operating the equipment.

Ledcor is a good company to work for I would advise anyone thinking of joining the Ledcor team not to worry about starting a career , The level of professionalism and safety was great to see . I will jump at a chance to rejoin them at the next project
good equipment and mechanics
Typical day would be doing pre trip on truck then haul waste or ore to proper destinations. Management was good. Co-workers were good some different then others. Would be nights but get through it. Being home every night and the shift schedule of a week on and a week off
Operated haul truck, learned to operated a wiggle a triple 7, 1500 . Had lots of patience, always had to beware of your surroundings, safety was big on the job site.
Good Shifts and good pay
It was unfortunate to have to leave however, down sizing and reduction in work resulted in lay-offs. The overall level of training and safety programs were excellent. They are a very professional organization.
My first active employment in the mining sector, and it was all good.
Getting covered in coal dust, which bothered me and concerned me as far as health concerns go.
Its a great place to work with great hours and safety is a very large part of every job . The money is a little small in the summer time as there is no overtime . It would be great for someone with no bills and getting close to retirement .
Great hours and people to work with
paychecks are small during the summer season
In the construction field, the business is feast or famine. I would have liked to work till retirement. I really enjoyed the job.
Camp life was good for me.
