LEDCOR has treated me well over the last few years and if you are a hard worker they treat you well for years to come. The company is great in itself, obviously if you add human factors it can get a bit stressful but they do a good job at weeding individuals out that don't jive with the atmosphere.
Great bunch of people, Great management, great work environment, job security, great views if your working in Kitimat. Would recommend to stick with ledcor.
Long hours, long shifts
Great steady work. I would still be there if not for COVID. Our site in kitimat BC was shut down Great company to work for. Good shifts, fair pay Hoping to be able to go back soon
All and all a great place to work, management was awesome but like many places if it rained or not much work the favorites always had the hours.Management are people who value your input
Management and pay
Favoritisme and clac benifits
Good company to work with, good culture, respectful employee, employees follow company rules of laws, safety rules, They give opportunity to everyone to learn

Difficult to figure management out, the talk one language but their actions speak another, challenging work.If you make friends with the right people advancement will happen.

management for the most part was approachable and easy to talk to and showed a willingness to mentor and remain loyal to employees. Excellent safety culture
Wages were great, safety was a big priority (and at times way overdone- knives were not allowed) Plenty of hours but no travel time between terrace and the job site was paid (equaled about 2.5 hours per day!) Was not given much opportunity for advancement in the time I was there, which was disappointing.
great company.great people. I looked forward to going to work every day.I learned a lot about what it takes to build a road over a mountain.I worked 11 months in Kitimat.laid off Oct.12 2014.Hardest part off the was the terrain very steep you really had to pay attention to your surroundings. The most beautiful scenery.
I think they could have done a much better job in the living arrangements. Shuttle service to and from the airport. Travel time that is not covered , getting home at a late time of night. you are putting in 15 hours and getting paid for 12.5. A camp that has been promised for a year now still not in place. You are up at 4:30am and you get back to town at 8:30 / 9pm. You go to eat at a restaurant that closes at 9 you rush home to shower and hopefully you get to sleep by 11pm. So you are sleep deprived not enough time to rest. There are many times men say that they are burnt out and making stupid mistakes on the job.To me That is an unsafe work place.
Nice crew to work with.
You are with them more than your family. To long of a shift.
