Was on some medium to large projects. Local team members are usually pretty good to work with. Job tools are poor. Technology outside of administration systems are poor. Other companies I've worked for are way ahead of construction technology in the field.

Company does a good job of suppressing careers and making empty promises. Promotions without merit and lack of recognition seem to be the norm for a private company of this size. Many senior executives don't follow the corporate values by talking poorly about employees.

Lots of senior managers and directors don't trust the executives. Lots of head nodding going on, especially with the old boys culture.

When you ask for support on anything, they point you to an HR website which you can't even get to. Everything is always justified by "management says...", even when you follow company policies. Hard to understand what your career can go.

Ledcor has a great potential for business expansion. Their Sales and Business Development team are doing a wonderful job. However, the project implementation team cannot handle it, their processes are weak causing high costs and lower revenues. Until the revenue leaks are not controlled, their costs will be higher leading to instability of business and fear of job losses.

No a good company to work for.

This is the worst company that I have worked for. They tell you they set you up for success, what a crock. The culture is sink of swim and this came from the Superintendent. There is little to no mentorship there.
Mass confusion on a daily basis.
I advise to anyone looking, STAY AWAY!
Long hrs and no thanks or job well done.

Installation Specialist repair (Ancien employé) –  Port Coquitlam, BC8 mai 2019
LTS Solutions Ltd. a Divisions / subsidiary of the Ledcor Group and is a prime contractor working in co-operation with Telus Communications. They provide copper and fiber installation and repair services to Telus Communications.

Additionally they use sub contractors to help with the work load.

So here's the deal. Working for Ledcor / LTS Solutions or any of their contractors will likely be one of the bad decisions you will make in your life.

With an extremly high attrition rate (50%) or more in the first year is why they want you to make a minimum one year commitment. Really! most companies hope you will stay based of the relationship and how you are treated. Think about that for a minute before you sign off on any offer.

You may be asked to pay for any training they require or required to pay them back if you leave within a year. This is questionable and illegal.

Next ask yourself if you want to work for a company that operates on the fringes of the law. or potentially may step over the line.

You will be asked to become an independent contractor by the downstream contractors working with Ledcor. Check with Revenue Canada before you do this.

If you are a member of a Union you will be outright disqualified from employment.

Pay is strait commission or piece work.

I could go on and on all day at how messed up this company is and many of the contractors that work for them.

If you take a job with LTS solutions Ltd. just understand its not a career but more of a stop over A plan "2" would be a smart move and strategy

If you know anyone who
  plus... has worked for LTS Solutions Ltd. just ask them how they were treated. It not likely the majority will give you positive feedback.

I give LTS Solutions Ltd a "D" or less fail mark.

Ledcor's safety program is definitely one of the highest in the industry. Safety is their top priorities, if everyone would buy into their safety program, it could definitely lead to zero harm to their worker.

You dont get any where with this company unless you are family or friend of management. They have the lowest pay scale in the industry. The safety policies are completely ridiculous. The management and HR policies are totaly comical and much of what goes on makes no sence. Do yourself a favor and don't work for this poor outfit. You will regret it. Nearly everyone who works there regrets it and hates this terrible company, but they are trapped there. People think that Lecor is the only way of life and they are truly too chicken to stand up and say something or just quit. LEDCOR is a horrible company and everday there you will feel like killing yourself. I completely understand why people go "postal". The best decision I ever made was escaping the hostage situation they call employment. They do not deserve any stars.

I love the Ledcor statement...

"But when you work for Ledcor, your experience will go far beyond the project. Do you want a career that means more? Join our True Blue team now! "

Go far beyond the project means: Working for this company will affect your mental health, create conflict with your family, and may have you wondering why did you take the job. You will spend time beyond the project questioning your decision to Join Ledcor LTS Solution Ltd.

Join the True Blue team now: True Blue definition unwaveringly loyal or faithful; staunch; unchangingly true.

In the Ledcor LTS Solution Ltd. has a different definition. Blue as in depressed you made a decision to work for this company.

I made really good money while I worked for them by working long hours being Loyal and faithful. In the end, it cost me my family time away from my young children and almost cost me my life and mental health.

Working with LTS Solutions Ltd. was not a good decision, and I am sharing this because I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I have. Honestly, Don't waste your time!

OMG Nightmare at LTS Solutions Ltd. Ledcor Technical Services

There are many words to describe this company. All of them are not nice words.

LTS Solutions LTD. also know as Ledcor Technical Solutions is a Telecom subsidiary of the Ledcor Group.

A typical day is working for the main customer Telus Communications working on the new fiber optic project and repairing issues for Telus customers.

You are paid on Piece work and can make $0 dollars to a rare $300 dollars for work completed. Your earning will fluctuate week to week based on available work.

They tend to hire awesome people who are new to the country as they may not know their rights or employment standards in Canada and subsequently are less likely to object to poor treatment.

Field Managers are asked to do things that border on criminal and when they push back are shown the door and threatened with losing their job. This is one reason Technicians are treated so poorly.

LTS will lie to you, expect you to work for free and be available in case work comes available. You are not paid hourly and expected to be available without pay.

You do not get paid any overtime and are put on an annual averaging agreement. They will stop giving you work once you get close to the annual hours representing strait time.

This means you can work overtime but will likely never get paid for it.

The company pretends to be an employee friendly company where you can voice your concerns. BE VERY AWARE is you speak up you will likely be finding the door.

LTS uses a monthly meeting called a town hall to smoke out those technicians that speak out. If you do this expect to be
  plus... put on a Progressive Improvement Plan (PIP), based on your performance standards or metrics. The PIP program is what they use to build a case to exit you and end your employment.

FYI the metrics reporting system does not report correctly and is false at least 30% of the time.

When they are ready to terminate you, they will call you in and lie to you about the reason. The best one is a "tool" or "inventory audit".

Not everything is bad with this company however and unfortunately, it is the majority.

I am suggesting you don't work for them but a plan 2 would be wise. Don't expect to stay longer and don't get too comfortable. They have a high-speed revolving door, pathetic Managers, and poor safety record.

Working for this company was one of the worst decision I made in my career. The pay is extremely poor, Management is out of control from the top down, Workplace Culture is hostile and safety is 2nd not first.

They hire salespeople and Technicians on a perpetual revolving door basis. This will be a complete waste of your time working for this company

You are paid on piece work which is sometimes $10.00 /day

Telus is the main customer which is equally messed up and abusive.

They both get two thumbs down and don't deserve your business.

Safety culture is good and continuously improving. My boss expected 24 -7 coverage which was unsustainable. Remember we are people not machines. My health went back to excellent when I left.

HUGE turnover of salespeople not a career or anything close to a good company to work for.

LTS Solutions Ltd. is a contractor that works selling Telus Services to commercial and retail clients.

The pay is pathetic which is why the high turnover in both sales and Technician I&R. You are treated horribly by management and bullied.

The company is shrinking fast as no one will work for them in sales or as a Technician. They have a hard time retaining a keeping staff and are always hiring. It's not because they are growing, it's because of the revolving door.

During your hire process, you will see red flags everywhere and likely have information withheld because if anyone knew the actual truth would never accept the position in Sales or as a Technician.

This review includes contractors that work on behalf of Ledcor. They are held to the same ridiculous nonsense.

The upper management is completely out of control and just try to hang onto their jobs. They will skirt the labor law and just about anything to get sales including misrepresentation of Telus services.

Anyone rating this company with top marks is likely from the HR or recruiting department trying to do damage control. Quite Laughable and obvious.

I am speaking about the Telecom group called LTS

My experience with this company is much like the other 130 technicians that leave every year for other opportunities. The revolving door spins so fast the bearings burn out every month.

They will not share the wages until you are hired and once you quit your current job. By the time you find out it's too late. This was the first red flag once I started. They will put you through training and expect you to pay them back if you leave in the first 12 months. This was the second red flag.

They will have a dog and pony show every couple of months with management to brainwash you on how awesome they are as a company. it's all just talk to make them feel good.

Constant badgering by field Managers and directors to the point you just get tired of the ongoing micromanagement and harassment in the field.

They have a strong safety policy but will not take care of you if you get injured. Money or wages is all piece work which means you could make zero dollars per day and expected to be available even when there is no chance of work.

Benefits program is OK but not any different from most employers.
