.Co-workers are great .Managers are not too bad .it was mostly physical, laborious work .I am not sure if their starting pay is even enough to keep body enough nourished to keep up with the physically demanding job, let alone raise families
But for someone looking for an easy leg in the door, this is a great opportunity. If you can manage to stick in long enough before they hire you 'permanent', life can get better.
Working for the LCBO was an amazing oppertunity. Was a seasonal hire did 2 terms, but beware they dont tell you if you are sick or have family emergency or death in family, it is all hel against you as attendance. You are only allowed a day or 2 off but they do no tell you this when you are hired.
You have to do your work and everything that is required and asked of you. Showing up on time and being there for your scheduled shift is very important. People that you work with are kind, helpful and care about the place they work in and people around them.
