Passed over for permanent work over people off the street(because the know someone in management) Turn over rate is extremely high.. went through 15 managers in the 3 year I worked there. No job security. During the summer months they do not abide by the Ministry standard heat exhaustion breaks like they're suppose too. You get out on a shift without say and makes it difficult to plan your life.
It's not an ideal job to be able to have a normal / secure life if you want to buy property or make commitments to big purchases.. like a vehicle.. home.. etc.
You are able to learn a lot, very quickly. Great place to work as an intern. Fast paced company, though there is a lack of work-life balance. You get moved around rapidly, enough to learn a lot, though not enough to become an expert in any of the roles you will play.
