Sales (Ancien employé) – Toronto, ON – 24 mai 2019
Great start to a career. Mostly great environment, but it's a pit of vipers with a family feeling. You're never secure, especially if you are comfortable where you are (unless you're upper middle management). No one is your friend and you'll be screwed so many times you'll learn to ask for more.
Beer industry is in major decline, having the regional VP of sales present their yearly plan (exactly the same as last year, and the Year before that, and the year before that.....) openly asking for help because they're in trouble and have no plan is a major cause for concern.
High levels of attrition and layoffs, but (in their words) labatt is fighting the good fight, foot on the gas and constantly winning.
Engineering Intern - Brewhouse Manager (Ancien employé) – London, ON – 5 novembre 2019
You are able to learn a lot, very quickly. Great place to work as an intern. Fast paced company, though there is a lack of work-life balance. You get moved around rapidly, enough to learn a lot, though not enough to become an expert in any of the roles you will play.
