Daily meetings, learn to deal with various customers as well as daily plans changing so one needs to be adaptable. Good place to work and move up within the company.
Some people absolutely love working here, however it is a pretty specific box that you have to fit into to be accepted. There is frequent turnover, restructuring and directives which forces you to constantly change priorities and just become a songbird for the company, no matter the tune. If you fit the exact match of who they are looking for, which is a massive majority of the company (white, male, 20s-early 30s, into team sports, and have no work life balance) you will succeed quickly. There is a huge focus on the GMT program and having everyone go through the same process despite background experience. The traditional stream is starting as a Merchandiser, which is a lot of work (well over 40 hours per week.) Eventually you get noticed and will be offered a Sales Rep position, there are 4 levels of sales reps. If you are willing to sacrifice your entire personal life and relocate every 6 months to a year you can quickly scale the ladder. It is always a moving target and they will never say you did a good job, instead it's always posed as "how could we have done this better". You may have been focused on one thing for 6 months but then the company has a new direction and it's completely scrapped. Lack of communication is rampant so distrust in management grows quickly. It seems like the blind leading the blind since there are so many levels of middle management all looking out for themselves. It is openly talked about how pay has only increased once in the past 10 years, and nearly everyone works over 40 hours a week with "voluntary" options to work evernings. - plus...
free beer and perks for sporting events
low pay, bro culture, lack of inclusion/diversity, unreal expectations
Extremely strong corporate culture centered around driving results and pushing employees outside their comfort zone. Fast-paced environment bringing a fair amount of pressure on the staff. Great people to work with.
Great start to a career. Mostly great environment, but it's a pit of vipers with a family feeling. You're never secure, especially if you are comfortable where you are (unless you're upper middle management). No one is your friend and you'll be screwed so many times you'll learn to ask for more. Beer industry is in major decline, having the regional VP of sales present their yearly plan (exactly the same as last year, and the Year before that, and the year before that.....) openly asking for help because they're in trouble and have no plan is a major cause for concern. High levels of attrition and layoffs, but (in their words) labatt is fighting the good fight, foot on the gas and constantly winning.
Low pay for what you're responsible for
Very strong internal company culture, which is polarizing for those coming in from other cultures. Great place to start your career; if you perform well you will earn lots of opportunities very quickly.
Fast career advancement
Frequent gaps with supply management

Solid work environment. Work life balance is pretty good, focus is on getting work done, if you want to work from home sometimes it's no stress. Perks are pretty sweet. Tickets to sporting events, free beer, company car. However, the political landscape is a nightmare. People will get ahead by any means necessary. Whether it is being obsequious to your managers, or sullying the work of co-workers to make yourself look superior. I'm a competitive person, but the culture is hyper-competitive. The company shares ranking reports every day to do direct comparisons with your peers on basically all metrics. This leads to gossip and smearing of employees behind closed doors. Very Toxic. If you don't mind playing politics, this company could work for you. Otherwise, don't waste your time
Free beer, company car, work from home sometimes, cool perks
High pressure, political nightmare
Labatt is a great place to learn in sales and territory management. The salary and benefits are fair and the work is interesting. The work life balance is hard to manage although it can be done.
Interesting work environment, Great Team.
Poor work life balance
Labatt is a huge company under the ABInBev umbrella of companies. Therefore opportunities for advancement are limitless. Sometimes managers lacked a little experience due to fast movement within the company. Great benefits and hours.
