Room for growth is possible for hard working people

I enjoy my job and most of operators are really great people who will help you train to operate different types of equipment.Honestly if your a hard working type of person and give your all you will do fine .The management here have been great to me and I get noted on a regular basis for giving my best work .Lots of overtime there for the right person as Only thing I could complain about is pay and benefits as a temp until possible full time.

A depressing environment, workers not treated with respect.

My experience with Labatt was very poor. The facility was depressing, no one wanted to be there. I was given a job that I did not sign up for, and I did not feel respected by management.

There is palpable antagonism between workers and management. Workers though, are mostly pleasant and helpful and collaborative.

I have never had a union job before so the culture was a bit alien to me. Most of my co-workers work hard and are friendly and helpful but they dislike and distrust management. The only way to make any money there is to work 7 days.

One of the worst places I have worked for

This is a good place to work if you have little or no work experience, top100 company looks good on a resume. Managers have poor communication but are not bothered by it. You feel like just another number. Do some research and see what others have said before you apply.

Incompetent managers and forced overtime

Want work/life balance? Look elsewhere. A company that can force people to work beyond their scheduled shifts with a team of 20 year old managers. Advancement? Work as a full time temp making $17/hr for 4-6 years and ~maybe~ you'll be hired as a full time employee. Easy work but when management doesn't know how to do their job, it makes your job 100x more difficult.

Inclusive company culture that prioritizes safety

Labatt focuses on workplace safety above all else, stating that you should not ever perform any task that you are unsure about. This results in a company culture that prioritizes getting home safely and minimal workplace injury. Different obstacles arose daily, and learning to solve different problems was a valuable skill to take away. Interactions with management were always pleasant, although the difference in work style between the workers who had been there for many years and management was striking. A day at work was often rewarding, but working alone with minimal supervision could sometimes be daunting. All in all, an interesting learning experience and a look into an industrial setting for students.

typical day at work is usually fast paced, and competetive learned to stay out of peoples way and that not everyone has your best interest, although that is not the feel of the environment management is somewhat easy going but does not fully comprehend the rhyme and reason for environment and situationals on the floor the hardest part of work is meeting the quota, (from a warehouse associates perspective) and the mandatory overtime the most enjoyable was the compensation on benefits and bonus incentives
