Entreprise pour les gens de carrière. Beaucoup d'opportunités, mais il ne faut pas compté les heures. Le travail de marchandiseur est très difficile physiquement et le salaire pas très élevé, compte tenu des heures supplémentaires non rémunéré
Labbat is a good place to work workers are nice but management is not people oriented there is too much negativity and politics I did my job the way they asked but they let me go for mistakes in inventory while I was training that is not correct
If you dont like sports you will have a hard fitting in ...You have to play politics in there. At times. An its bloody anoying ...You will have a hard time working there if you dont say amen to everything

Some people absolutely love working here, however it is a pretty specific box that you have to fit into to be accepted. There is frequent turnover, restructuring and directives which forces you to constantly change priorities and just become a songbird for the company, no matter the tune. If you fit the exact match of who they are looking for, which is a massive majority of the company (white, male, 20s-early 30s, into team sports, and have no work life balance) you will succeed quickly. There is a huge focus on the GMT program and having everyone go through the same process despite background experience. The traditional stream is starting as a Merchandiser, which is a lot of work (well over 40 hours per week.) Eventually you get noticed and will be offered a Sales Rep position, there are 4 levels of sales reps. If you are willing to sacrifice your entire personal life and relocate every 6 months to a year you can quickly scale the ladder.It is always a moving target and they will never say you did a good job, instead it's always posed as "how could we have done this better". You may have been focused on one thing for 6 months but then the company has a new direction and it's completely scrapped. Lack of communication is rampant so distrust in management grows quickly. It seems like the blind leading the blind since there are so many levels of middle management all looking out for themselves.It is openly talked about how pay has only increased once in the past 10 years, and nearly everyone works over 40 hours a week with "voluntary" options to work evernings. - plus...

Floor lead hands call the shots, mainly because it's a union place. They once called the MOL and that cost the company over $60000 in upgrades (no serious safety violations).Beer vouchers are given away with every pay stub but that's about all the real positive things, at least back when I worked there. Hopefully that changed since then.

No backbone on management side. Lead hands rule the place
Safety freaks who will fire you for the slightest infringement.Management has effectively taken all the fun out of working in a brewery
Slug your but off. Mixed packs and just go go go. It's all about production. On the other hand, it's a job. If you don't mind the annoyance of being micro managed, if you don't mind management managing you even on your breaks, this is the job for you. Enjoy.
No pros, it's all about more more and more.
Je devais faire 8h de travail payé par jour (7 à 4), mais j’étais souvent forcé à terminer à des heures inadéquates sans être payé (17h-18h). L’heure de dîner était inexistante, je mangeais en conduisant sinon je n’avais pas le temps de terminer à 16h. Les conditions de travail des marchandiseurs sont assez déplorables chez Labatt. Je devais mettre en ligne sur Chatter 2 publications par jour dans mes temps libres. Alors, si tu étais un « bon » employé tu devais placer les commandes de bières après tes heures de travail, n’avoir aucune pause et mettre des photos sur Chatter dans tes temps libres, le tout sans être rémunéré. Une gestion d'entreprise fait par des employés qui ont peu d'expérience.

Employees are recognized regularly and good structure. Some old employees are very lazy but they are good people. A little under paid to work but overall very clean and good percs.

I hate to be so negative, but this company has gone to heck in a hand basket! So sad. I am grieving for the once great Canadian company this once was. I will be leaving soon after almost 2 decades in. Can’t do it anymore. Don’t come here. Very bad work environment
Too many to list
I was treated unfairly because of my racial background. My manager consistently displayed bias against me in comparison to my white colleagues. Career path planning only given to the young kids hired from their BTP or GMT programs. I was working in a team where the blame is always shifted rather than collaborate.

Poor work life balance and toxic work culture
Very disorganized poor training and no direction. All management has very little experience because all the experience management has quite Yes prior. Toxic environment between company and union with no effort being shown to resolve. Engagement at all time low!!!! From both management and from the floor.
Potential to move around because everyone quits.
As per plant manager we pay the middle rate.
I worked there for eight years, through multiple general managers and supervisors and every one of them was a class act, great to be around and learn from. The facility itself would get hot in the summer though was kept in very good working condition by the staff - very clean, very safe. Management was understanding when mistakes were made - focus was on improving the process.
High turnover rate
Daily meetings, learn to deal with various customers as well as daily plans changing so one needs to be adaptable. Good place to work and move up within the company.
the Employees are very proud of the products we put out to the consumer and will NOT allow bad product out. Work Life balance can be a struggle. Management is a revolving door and all processes change with every new manager so confusion is created. Has a great safety culture.Union is strong.

- Very collaborative organization as Sales, Brewery Ops, and Logistics work together on a daily basis - Very KPI driven - Talent Program Individuals take precedent over those hired through other avenues - Competitive Culture can sometimes get in the way of individuals working together to make the best decisions

My experience with Labatt was very poor. The facility was depressing, no one wanted to be there. I was given a job that I did not sign up for, and I did not feel respected by management.
it was a pleasure working there, i learned a lot and i would definitely recommend working there to anyone. managers has open door policy ... we always had various events going on and the crown jewel, free beers on fridays
