General Labourer (Ancien employé) – Armstrong, BC – 25 mai 2019
I absolutely loved my time at Kohler Hytec. From the time you arrive and every day after, you’re made to feel appreciated, recognized for your efforts and engaged in the processes as well as the culture.
They really invest the time and resources to train their new recruits and you never feel like quantity takes precedence over quality. A lot of companies will tell you that, but with Hytec, it really isn’t just lip service.
We had a training day for which they shut down production and put us in groups to go around doing various workshops, learning about everything from safety, to quality, to company policies.
The CEO of Kohler as well as all the management in the Armstrong facility have a policy of putting people first and recognizing that if you invest in and care about your employees, they will be happier and more invested in bettering themselves and consequently the company’s interest at the same time. You really do feel that policy being put into practice every day. We have meetings all the time with HR and the Operations Manager asking for our input as to what they can do to make you happy, what sort of changes you would like to see and how they can make everyone feel included and appreciated. They are candid, sincere and really do care.
The culture is fantastic. There’s so much going on that you can get involved in. We have bbqs, free tickets to Viper games, hikes, community involvement, children’s Christmas parties and so so much more. Safety is paramount and every person you work with takes great pride in their work and is always willing to help or takeplus... the time to answer questions.
I highly recommend Kohler as a wonderful place to work. I’ve never been treated as well as I was at Kohler Hytec.moins
Management is phenomenal and makes every effort to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
