This company will set you up for failure. They have turned over 6 managers. The accounting employee seems to make all the calls and seems overly close with the owner. If the accounting employee doesn't like you, she will go out of her way to make you look bad to the owner. He makes decisions based on her. Poor Management.
Also, it is expected that if the day is busy, that you stay past open to close (7:30am - 6 or 7pm). If you don't, they consider you someone who doesn't want to be there. Don't waste your time with these fools. Look at all the reviews and see how many likes for each review to reveal the truth. The good reviews are current employees who were probably put up to it.

I have never worked for a company that comes anywhere close to what the Kharfan Group offers - if you want to work with a company that feels like family - this is the one!

Management is amazing, always room for advancement, and training is available as well, with no cost to yourself. Very transparent company to work for.

I am currently an employee for this company. Even though this job requires a lot of work and responsibilities out of you, I am getting paid for the time and the skills that I deserve to get. I am grateful that they are willing to train me from getting laid off at one job and giving me an opportunity to grow into another industry. They spent their money, time and resources to make me a better estimator. They also pay me well being an estimator who has never worked in the industry. Communication might be a hiccups someday, however, it is manageable. I have my manager where I can rely on for any changes in the company. I also like to say, they have been there for me , help me when I cant pay for rent and have my daily basis needs. which company in this city would offer you this help or support? What they do these days are sending you straight to EI and don't care if you'll be able to live tomorrow. This company cares for things like that for employees,from detailer to be an estimator. They treat me like their friend and they always there when you need support.
I am extremely grateful to work this company and continuingly working for them in the future. Thank you the owner for helping, supporting, taken care of me and my family when needed. This makes you and this company a unique company to work for. Not everything is about me, It is about you, me and the rest of my coworkers. It is rare to see a company that will do these types of things when you or people in the organization need it.

Very progressive company always trying to 1 up the other companies out there which is great but the communication throughout the company is lack thereof to support the changes they want to make. New policies, new changes make it to one person and important information never makes it down the ladder and then its YOUR fault you didn't know.

The management have 0 managing skills, people do not know their roles and everyone above you have different ideas on how it should be done, which makes it hard to know how you are expected to complete certain things or tasks.


You are constantly reminded that you are just an employee, extremely replaceable and that they will gladly hold the door if you don't like it. Hard pill to swallow when you work extra long days, take shorter lunches and put up with customers screaming at you and disrespectful situations with 0 support from the managers.

"Verbal Abuse seems to be tolerated at Carstar."


If you have a concern and go to the appropriate people they are great at assuring you things will change and be dealt with, nothing ever changes! You get given a pay increase to hide the fact they are going to continually use you and not be treated as an equal.


This is a very negative work environment with extremely horrible culture. I wouldn't want anyone I know applying to work for a company like this.

Hide behind a made up culture of respect. Poor pay, no direction on what you should do. Constant rotation of staff, if you don't like it, there's the door attitude.

This company is great to work for. Owner CARES. Process driven, support and training are always there for employees. All you do is ASK. If you ask proper channel, you will get what you need to do your job successful.

Expectations from employees go along with responsibilities and accountabilities from the employees as well. You cant set expectations without delivering results to the company that’s paying you to do a job.


This is what they do. They hold you accountable and they compensate you for what you have to offer. This is why they are a great company. They offer you all the training, giving you all the skillsets to set you up for success in the future. They spend money to invest in you and your future at no cost.


Look out there, everyone is laying everyone off. This company is actually investing in you and your future. They spent their money and resources just to make you better. They care in making you a difference person and improving your skillsets to help you better.

This place has horrible culture, the upper management doesn't support the actual staff in the shop nor do they actually understand anyone's full roll except for the technicians. They keep trying to re-invent the wheel, overcomplicating every single stage of the repair process and they absolutely never leave you alone to actually do your job! The accounting department there is diligent in their job but they overstep their boundries all the time and make your life a disaster.

You end up making good friends with the people there but every single person is burnt our and is sick and tired of the false promises and zero support. The upper management treats you like a number and their famous words are "they always come back" as they believe what they are doing is right. They work you like a dog, expect the world from you with zero praise/appreciation.
