When I worked there it had a massive favoritism issue. Management had their favorite worker and treated everyone else like dirty, everyone was scared to speak up due to losing hours. Management never wanted to be part of the grind they sit in their little office to escape work and never assist. It's one of the worse working environments I've ever experienced.

Employ appropriate non biased third party HR who can competently investigate issues that take place within the stores and take appropriate action when necessary to ensure employees safety and job security at all times. Right now you have a horrible joke of a company in which Assistant Store Managers are squeezed for every last work effort they can muster and when things get bad enough to warrant complaints to HR, HR sides with Store Managers and terminates employees without cause.

Nope, as long as you leave a detailed message or statement as to why you cant come in they will always be able to work around your schdule that day
