Poor HR management communication skills. They don't reply.
Company is notorious for "scope creeping".
Poor wages & BS excuses from management.

The company is micro managed like crazy, information was never passed to the right people, hours were skimmed off of pay cheque’s had to fight to get LOA, great guys to work with but the management didn’t seem to know what they were doing.

Apprentices Beware
Apprentice Electrician (Ancien employé) –  Edmonton, AB27 mai 2019
Not a lot of room for learning. Pretty basic on the electrical side. Was a good place to ride out the oil crash. Wouldn’t recommend to apprentices. Management could use a bit of tweaking.

Run, would not work here
Construction Labourer (Ancien employé) –  London, ON9 mai 2019
This company will micro manage you from afar and there is no chain of command. They want you to work long hours with no chance of promotion, will not let you build your own teams for success. There are better companies out there. They watch everything on your phone, laptop, even your company truck is GPS

Journeyman Electrician
Electrician Journeyman (Ancien employé) –  Edmonton, AB7 mai 2019
As an electrician working here was tough and was only a pay check till I found literally anything else.

There is no real electrical work other then splicing light poles and changing lights on occasion. The all the cable pulling and PVC conduit is done by labourers which should be done by an electrical apprentice! The foreman for the electrical section has only ever worked there so has no idea how do to anything other then street lights.

For equipment operators and labourers it seems like it's a good job, they do have benefits, but if you're looking for electrical work its not worth it.

A big pet peeve of mine was that they would not let us work 5 -10 hour days but made us work 5-8hour days and come in on Saturday. This way we only hit overtime half way through saturday at our 44hours, instead of getting paid 2 hours overtime everyday Mon-Fri.

Biggest waste of time ever
Labourer (Ancien employé) –  Edmonton, AB18 avril 2019
Management is pathetic. You work all week and in all conditions and the company does nothing for you in return. You are treated like a nobody and unless you are a superintendent, you mean nothing. Don't expect things like reviews or raises because they never happen. They ask you to do unsafe and shady things and then preach safety when things go bad. Garbage company.

Don’t bother
Fiber Optic Technician (Ancien employé) –  Vancouver, BC18 avril 2019
What a shame they got rid of the old management here in Vancouver, ever since everyone a lot of people started slacking and not caring like before.
I’ve also never seen a full time job that sits you down and let’s new employees work when work is slowing down, you don’t get paid lunch and your not allowed to take it, All the Forman's think that they’re too good to work and get their hands dirty until the owners are around. You also have to be careful of someone smashing into your company vehicle or running you over because you’ll get a written warning if that happens to you.
Don’t waste your time here

Stay away !!
Journetman electrician (Ancien employé) –  Edmonton, AB12 avril 2019
This company has some great employees but the management is ridiculous !! Spying on employees from a distance to make sure they arent taking too long of a break to making employees that are in the passangers seats on our way to jobs take their break before ariving to site. Too bad they know nothing about morale or how to treat an employee ! Ceo of the company often drives to sites to check up or catch employees taking breaks at proper times. Worst company I 've ever worked for.

Management is unprofessional.
Laborer (Ancien employé) –  Surrey, BC4 mars 2019
I was a laborer in the lower mainland. My job was decent but the management was horrendous. The operations manager is lazy and hardly left his office while I worked there, except to get lunch. The other manager was a snap show and would lose it if you didn't bow down to him. Seems like there was always a constant battle for power between the two. I was laid off and it was the best thing I got from them.

Great Working Enviroment, Plenty of Advancement, Home Every Night
Foreman/Operator (Employé actuel) –  Edmonton21 février 2019
Great place to work! If you work hard you will be recognized. Plenty of different areas to advance. Great apprenticeships. Great place to learn a bit of everything from standing streetlights to installing gas and cable to heavy equipment operation. Great group of Foreman and Superintendents that help you succeed. Very family friendly place to work if you want to be close to home.

Decent Place for experience
Utility Worker (Ancien employé) –  Edmonton, AB12 février 2019
Pretty well good organization. Perhaps too big for its own good. Many mistakes overlooked, seemed like deficiency work was a norm. Owner has monopoly over subdivision construction, making it hard for smaller companies to compete.

Poor upper managment
