The older staff is spoiled and favorited by management, although the older staff creates a negative and toxic environment in the workplace, they still get rewarded with good shifts, good hours and good large parties. Management will make you think you'll move up but you never will no matter how hard of a worker you are. Sections are not cut fairly between servers and servers with smaller sections are left with majority of the side duties such as, glasseware, garbages, a ton of cutlery... while the shift leaders sit back and make the most money. Hours are unreliable, they make you wait anywhere between 30 min to an hour after your start time so they can decide whether or not they should start you so they can save on their labor. For a franchise restaurant, this location gets away with a lot of illegal things. My number one issue is management and how they treat their employees, although the older staff is toxic, management tends to cause the most drama and negativity in the workplace.
