It started off well but team members were so nosy and stressful... Management keeps on changing frequently so really don't know what's gonna happen the next day. HR department is very proactive and helpfull but with everyone alike in the team makes it difficult to work with.

to bad even to mention, no respect, badmouthing, slandering, politics, hidden agendas...hiding of information's, backstabbing...etc, outsourcing of the jobs national and international is the main goal of the wanna-be managers.. a company of senior managers, project managers, directors and VP's...

good working environment, as well as a lot of politics. I was working as DBA, configuration of production data base was bad, made by CGI. Unfortunately many of my suggestions were not accepted without any reason, ... Intrac spent a lot of money on hardware, CGI's recommendation, no need for that.

Fast paced environment with each day bringing a new set of challenges and learning opportunities. The workplace culture is unique in both a positive and negative way as it truly depends on your perspective. Although it was on a contract basis to update the contracts that were approved, i did them all in less than 6 weeks. The VP is very nice to work for. It is fast paced environment and the salary is good. Wanted to work full time but the person on sick leave that I was replacing came back to work. Your need to watch your back with your co-workers. Not very friendly and unhelpful. It's a great location, just outside of union station. Pretty flexible and generous wages. Overall it's a good employer to work for, but most people are on contract so there is a lot of turnover. I would recommend this employer to everyone, if you can get a job there. Competition is fierce and they use abbreviations to describe a anything which makes it hard to know what they are talking about when you have just started to work there. The culture is very corporate and have to dress in high fashion and expensive clothing.

Company had one of the best benefits in the industry. I was very happy with the finance team as the executives were always open to suggestions and willing to implement improvements. I was able to contribute my skills in the different functions.

Interac is a great place to start your career. The downtown office location was very close to Union Station and convenient for any employee commuting in and out of the city every day. Interac treats its employees very well by providing a great compensation and benefits package and I was able to learn a lot in my time there. They also have many social events throughout the year for all staff which is a great way to meet people from other teams and departments across the organization. As an organization, they are moving in the right direction. Managers could benefit from specific management training and learning how to be better leaders. Many people (including managers) have been working there for a long time and as a result, ideas do not necessarily get equal consideration. Lastly, because it is a smaller organization there is very little room for advancement. Actions for Management : More accountability needs to be placed on managers at all levels. Engagement and collaboration did get better as time went on however more emphasis at the executive is needed to make this a priority.

The attitude of some people is not very professional. Very immature organization. But the technicality can be seen in co workers and the hardest part is to convince the senior executives (few)to do get job done.
