Combien de temps dure le processus de recrutement chez Inspire Fundraising Solutions?
Usually, it’s a couple of weeks. But that can vary depending on how quickly we can connect and when we’re running our next training class. We try to respond to initial applicants within 48 hours. From there, the process can take a few days to a week to select agents for the next training class. We are flexible and we always like to give people the ability to give proper notice and leave good history with a current employer. We walk through training times with you when we connect to review the position.
Is the role of Team Leader a work from home position as well? I see that all of the positions state "A professional location in downtown St. Catharines" however I am aware that the fundraisers physically work from their own homes across Canada. I am a fundraiser elsewhere and am interested in advancement opportunities.
Yes, support and team leader positions are available remotely. And as we continue to grow our remote team there will be a priority on adding remote team lead and support positions. Many of our operations support staff and all of our tech support and team leaders started out as agents on call. We actively promote leaders from within and look to develop those with a passion for coaching and development.
We offer flexible scheduling. That means each month you can login and select the shifts that you would like to work and adjust your schedule week by week. There are 3-4 shifts available each day. All shifts are evenings-aligned; and end at the same time. Our current hours are Mon-Thu 1:00pm to 10:00pm, Fri 10:00am to 7:00pm, and Sat 10:00am to 5:00pm. There are some scheduling requirements, like working a minimum of 30 hours per week. And schedules or hours may change from time to time to meet the needs of our clients.
Comment fonctionne le processus de promotions chez Inspire Fundraising Solutions?
We pay one of the highest hourly base-wages in the industry and agents are also eligible for an additional weekly incentive. There are wage increases for more senior positions and we regularly recruit from within. Most of our current support and operations staff were promoted from the agent role.
We ask our employees this question all the time. In fact, many of our best ideas have come from our staff; including our work from home positions, flexible schedules, employee lunch and learns, and weekly incentives. As we grow we will continue to listen to our staff to look for new innovations and better ideas.
Comment décririez-vous l’ambiance de travail chez Inspire Fundraising Solutions?
We believe that culture is what makes a company successful. It’s something we work on every day. We work to build a culture that is rewarding, successful, fun, and most of all, meaningful; being part of something bigger than ourselves. We connect in unique and exciting ways every day; through peer-led workshops, trainings and calibrations. We participate in social clubs (like our movie club, yoga club or meditation club) and events, or we might present our own version of “mini-TED talks”. Our client-partners play an important role as well, with incentives, big and small, team challenges, softball games or fundraising events. Some staff even get the chance to visit the field and see the impact of our work first-hand. In the end, we get the chance to make a real difference every day and have fun doing it.
Currently agents must schedule a minimum of 30 hours per week right up to 44 hours. Overtime is often also available for those looking for more hours. We use flexible scheduling to allow staff to create and adjust their own hours; to work more hours some weeks and less others if they like.
Not currently. While we do offer a lot of flexibility this is a full time position and agents must schedule a minimum of 30 hours per week; including 2 Saturday's per month. However, if you're looking for part time hours only do keep us in mind, we may look into opening part-time hours for down the road.
