It's pretty hard to say as I was on contract. IBM employees would obviously have a different experience. People were nice but job stress was high.
I was working as a consultant to support Sears Canada. My experience was supporting the client and hours worked depended on clients needs not so much IBM. Stress created mostly in trying to support Sears Systems while most of Sears IT staff were no longer there.
Proof of Technology and Proof of Concepts to Customers who have an environment that is green to such IBM solutions. Not to mention cost of IBM solutions. In addition, post sales engagements of deployed IBM solutions with Customers and managing IBM Business Partners.
