A governmental compony (They try to say is not governmental) with best benefit and no performance.I worked as contractor (Consultant) and see how union and management together just wasting time an keep monopoly power to enjoy their wasting time.

They pay well. Good structure. Depends on your manager. Overall professional place to work with all resources available to you. Mangers are generally accomodating to your needs unless its work-from-home requests. The job is comparatively easy if you are willing to learn and put real effort into your work. You will be recognized and rewarded according to the manager. This maybe in compliments, team acknowledgment. I have seen someone get a gift for putting in sincere effort in their day-to-day work.
To many crew foreman with no studies and no experience at all, and to much power for some unions keeping super lazy people because of the unfair stupid seniority.
4 days 10 hours, great
Company stresses safety as number one priority.Daily pre job meeting and worksite meeting to discuss tasks and hazards involved to develop a safe work plan to get the work done safely.Every workers input is important. All ideas are considered to make work go well.
One of the biggest electrical transmission and distribution company in Canada. Hydro One is Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution service provider. We distribute electricity across Ontario to nearly 1.4 million predominantly rural customers, or approximately 26% of the total number of customers in Ontario.
A great place to work at Hydro One. Workplace culture is inclusive and everyone works like a team. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people. You work allot on the computers and there is constant volume of work each day. The hardest part of the job are days in which there could be allot of errors to correct--more than the usual to fix any given day. A very professional environment to work. Much of the work is down in in house with some done by consultants.
The learning opportunities for me, as a coop, were endless. It was a great experience. The corporate culture is inclusive and the people are always willing to help.
Excellent company to work and grow your career. Good office environment. Provides lots of professional training to improve employees skills. There are many big projects definitely a plus point to increase you capability and knowledge.
Very little room for growth because you are just a number. People who are lazy get away with anything and hard working people are expected to pick up the slack for the lazy people.
Province wide company
Not a competitive work place.
