Productive and a good place to work and good people, not too happy if you are sick and can't make it to work, learned a lot of things from people in the company.
It's a hostile environment. They don't provide you with proper training and there's not enough time to understand everything. There's no flow. Too much favoritism.

It was a great experience working at hydro one. The managers were very friendly. it was a unionized company which was a bonus. I worked there for 8 years.
Review business requirements document, discuss as team to get to the root of what needs to be tested. Script a test plan , execute said test plan . review artifacts and format correctly.

High focus to Customer Care and The Customer Experience. Learned a lot about negotiations, and ways of creating solutions and strategies that will work for client and for the company. Hardest part of the job, is that the political environment plays a big role in the Ontario Utility Industry. Separating the customer's notion of politics and the duties of the companies are at times challenging.
Customer service and troubleshooting, mostly helping executives day and night.

Great company to work for, the work atmosphere was pleasant and i enjoyed my time working for Hydro One. I learned that no one calls their Hydro company to tell them they are doing a good job!
Sit down answer calls, meet metrics. very rigid old school call centre. Management always stressing to make sure metrics are met over customer needs.

Difficult to get contract extensions/ renewals
handled in bound calls from customers inquiring about their bills. Learned a lot about the company and how hydro works and taught me how to handle irate customers. i gained confidence with customers over the phone. hardest part of my job was trying to please the customers in sticky situations
