Good pay, bad management

Management's inflexibility and reluctance to change their perspectives further exacerbated the challenges faced by employees. This rigidity hindered effective communication and problem-solving, contributing to a stagnant work environment where innovation and adaptation were stifled.Additionally, management's tendency to lay off employees without consideration for tenure or dedication created an atmosphere of uncertainty and stress. Loyalty and dedication were undervalued, as individuals could be replaced without warning, regardless of their years of service. This lack of job security and disregard for employee tenure significantly impacted morale and trust within the workplace.

Good staff bad management

The staff are incredibly talented individuals. The same cannot he said for the management. Disorganized and micro aggressive. No other management has ever been so unapologetic and out of touch as I have experienced at this establishment.

Uplifting atmosphere, supportive managers and team

You work hard but get to be independent and have fun. High level of respect and management doesn’t torelate any disrespect. Culture is cool monthly team events and different events through year. Hardest part is the early shifts, most enjoyable is being around good respectful fun people who care about their work and guests Good fair pay and benefits

Great Job

Great job, amazing chef, Fantastic gm great young mangement team, one of if not the best kitchen staffs I have ever supervised. Other friendly staff throughout the hotel very welcoming great place to work!!!!!

Cliquey and gossipy

If your not a part of their friend group then you get your rooms will never be good enough, youl be gossiped about, and be given all the hardest tasks and assigned the most rooms. The deluxe rooms are twice the size of regular rooms and only given 5 minutes extra.I got really ill working there and never looked back after I got sick and silent quit the job.

Too much old furniture needs an overhaul

Unfortunately there are some who ride on the backs of others and newcomers are seen as rocking the boat when they can see clearly the complaincent attitudea of the staff.There is no clear path of career progression and inexperienced staff are promoted to fill empty roles. Training is none existent and new starters are left to fend for themselves with basic or no proper training.If these little niggles were resolved it would be a very nice place to work.

very energetic and positive atmosphere in the hotel which makes the work atmosphere excellent. the management is always there to support and lend a hand which is not often seen anywhere else

Toxic environment amongst management and supervisors , talk to you like dirt and offer zero assistance with any problems, no organisation which leads to you being blamed for their incompetence, avoid

The companies management couldn’t care less about you well being as you as a person. They see you as an employee not a person. They are completely unorganised and understaffed

They offer great pay and company benefits however the problem is with the management, there is no opportunity for progress in your career at least housekeeping.

Got laid off due to covid

Got laid off and wanted me to come back 2 days a week doing 3 positions. Reduced my hours due to covid. Not worth the stressUnhelpful coworkers and manager doesn't care about you

Professional and pleasing environment

Great all around people to work with. Management was great, kitchen were prepared and on the ball. We worked as a team and it was alot of fun. I was paid on time and can't find anything to complain about really.

Very hard work with little rewards

Management is quick to forget sacrifices you make to save the day. Chaotic schedules with very little forecasting. Management is superficial and has little knowledge of the actual resources available to staff. This place need a Union. Great for students and people learning the trade. Very lucrative wages.

Understaffed

Unreasonable staffing in the hotel. Purposely understaffed for the sake of saving money but the expectations are so high. Schedule are being changed last minute so they can write you up. I talk to coworker and same happen in other departments. Like many company they are taking advantage of the pandemic. They need to investigate this place and shut it down

work can be very demanding in terms of deadlines, reports, meetings, appointments, supervision, etc. you have to manage and prioritize your tasks first thing in the morning before the daily management briefings

career growth & development career growth & development . The company acknowledges contributions and recognizes committed staff. They help in training and development to promote employees. Career opportunities galore but salary wise average Assignments were very challenging.Very much a competitive corporate culture with many opportunities.

nice hotel and atmosphere are very relaxed

Exciting and fun to work. my co-worker are very helpful in teaching me when I was new in the company. management are very supportive and easy to talk to if you have any question about the company.
