The interview process was clearly defined and the interviewer was clear on what experience the company was looking by asking to use examples based on your practice. I then asked the interviewer have I answered your question?

Horrible. Even after 20yrs ;the last 6 yrs were the worst. It went from a pt caring hospital to a "its all about the money" .No team collaberation especially if the nurse is part time. Expected to be on 3 or 4 different teams during the same shift. But no respect given to part time staff at all but expected to do all your own work and then finish the full timers work too. Could write a book. Workplace Bullying and Harrassment but ignored and punished if mentioned. If you never have any thoughts, any questions, and confrontations .......you will be groomed to get fired. These comments given by 6 different registered staff rolled into one.
Nursing is not respected by other diciplines!!

I was told to "dress appropriately" and little more. Style in the office ranged from jeans and a dress shirt to three-piece suits!

In 2 years the rate of reimbursement never changed.

It depends how desperate they are to fill the role. People drop like flies here after they can't take it - they leave if they can, so sometimes it's a sudden vacancy.

Be aware that the rules are there for a reason and can be overwhelming; however, don't let that scare you away from patient interaction. The patients were grateful to be treated and spoken to as people.
