Support Worker in Winnipeg, MB
Only thing is it’s hard to get shifts sometime shifts are 2-4 hours you drive way out We are area where you live it would be better to have eight hour shifts but if you’re not a health care aid it seems you don’t get first priority on ships and you’re not working every day which is hard to make a living when you’re only giving it to three hour shift and maybe you work one or two days out of the week
Health Care Aide in Winnipeg, MB
Too many hours /not enough pay and support for the difficult work
Expected to work 40us hours/week,if you aren't able hours get cut and you barely get any hours . This company doesn't care about giving quality care, they care about getting money and will only support/help staff if they work any and all hours. Not expected to have a family life and will not give you benefits unless you fight for it. This company is a perfect example of following between the cracks when it comes to our vulnerable seniors. As long as the money comes in ,they don't care about anything else including their staff. Staff are overworked and not reimbursed for their time and reprimanded if they need a day of.
