BOH is nice enough, always friendly and approachable team.
FOH can be decent but a little cliquey. Some really grouchy staff.
FOH and BOH management plays favorites, openly disparage managers and staff in front of you. Makes it awkward and hard to trust that you are being treated well given this type of behaviour.
Chef is known to verbally abuse staff. Has 'good days' and 'bad days' which dictate how carefully the staff should engage with him and which rules will and will not be enforced. This is understood amongst everyone. As a new hire, I was warned to keep a distance and to 'be careful' with the chef. In my opinion, a bad temper is not a substitute for a personality, nor is it 'just a thing that chef's have.'
Really uncomfortable environment for bipoc. Staff does not reflect the city that we live in.

Wasn't the best place to work Staff & management wasn't the best & you could tell the don't like new comers, some but not all are welcoming.

Quick money but it doesn't matter if you aren't enjoying your job.

Learned lots and great people but some times there is too much competition amongst staff and the senior staff are favored. The salary and benefits are very good if you are a good sales person.

Terrible corporate culture and management style. Management leads by instilling fear and intimidation into its employees. There is no opportunity for dialogue and discussion with management on strategies or ideas, but rather only executing what you are told. Follow the direction as prescribed or be prepared to deal with bullying and harassment. Regardless of how hard you work or how successful you are in your role, development and promotion is based on nepotism. While the environment was designed as open concept to allow for collaboration, the company remains very reactionary and siloed.

While the benefits are good (discount, health, dental), compensation remains lacking compared to competitors, and work life balance is non-existent. Management expects employees to stay late daily, and be available at all hours of the night and on weekends.

No communication. Only good thing is benefits and discount.

-Clueless management that bullies people if they don't meet targets.
-Pay and movement within the company is limited even if you have worked there for a long period of time.
-benefits and discount are good, but if you make minimum wage the discount is pointless/ unreachable.
