This hotel has gone down hill so much. The management are so poor and not fair to the staff. They hire people who are new and give them all the hours. They don't treat people with respect. The rooms are dirty. The duvets are never changed. This is overall worst place to work. They need different management. They hire a manager for housekeeping who don't know what they are doing.

Il n’y a pas de système en place pour que l’information se rende aux bonnes personnes , pourtant le siège social était la porte tout de même adjacente sur la rue où se trouvait l’établissement hôtelier. Il y a tellement d’autres chaînes Hôtelières où travailler qu’un Holiday Inn. Bonne chance tout de même !

Excellent place to work, amazing work culture, supportive managers. Best place to stat career. excellent training and development programs for employees. Happiest work place.

A lot of work to be done from doing all of the prep to working on line. their is only two cooks and a dishwasher on during shifts. You don't get much help unless your boss is still at work.

Definition of Favourotism in the workplace. No chance to grow if your not liked by the boss. The break room was nasty with bugs and food was low quality.

I had a great experience working at Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre. The Director of Operations is an excellent person and an excellent professional. He is always considerate, kind, respectful friendly and honest. All the MODs that I worked with were extremely friendly, collaborative and open minded. All the hotel team received me in a very friendly, helpful and patient manner. I had excellent coworkers as a Bellman/ Room service, all were extremely kind, patient and welcoming. They really helped me a lot to have a smooth, gradual and comfortable beginning. All the Bellman, Kitchen and Front Desk teams are great collaborative coworkers, they create a very positive work environment.

i enjoyed working here, helpful management and room to grow. room for working a large array of shifts. long hours some days but there were added incentives

You work independently and alone in the workplace. The stressful indicators can be the guests that come in, because you get all sorts of people there. You do have to work full hours, because there were rarely any part time workers. The top managers were great and very respectful and helpful if you needed anything. The only 2 reasons I quit was because you never know who to expect to come in and how they're going to react, and because I enjoy working in teams not by myself. I would recommend working here, but only if you are okay with the two reasons I couldn't.

The people are the best. Both in colleagues as well as the guests. Management needs to have better training. While working if a mistake is made, instead of helping you understand they write you up.

Learned some things that helped in in the future for sure but the reason I am not working there is unacceptable. Sorry I cannot share the reason. It was too much stress and was not safe at all because the door was broken for a long time.

The hours are great. The pay was great. The coworkers were great. Holiday Inn was great. I had a great time. Everything was great. The hustle and bustle was great.

I hated this job, when my brother got sick everyone started treated me terrible. I tried to book days off because I had medical appointments but they made it difficult so I was forced to quit and then got fired 3 days later. I have never been so disrespected in my entire life

I worked at the Holiday Inn for almost 5 years. The opportunity for advancement is really low unless you're "buddies" with a member of management. Favoritism abounds. The hard workers aren't treated well, but the ones who always call in or don't even bother to show up for their shift are given pats on the back My boss did nothing but harass me although I was one of the top housekeepers there. I left due to her harassment and was able to prove it. Not a nice place to work at all. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Good day spent with workers. Decent hours. Like the perks that they gave for up-coming events. Very flexible and adaptable with the timely manner of unexpected work days.

Holiday Inn has been great to work at, the employees all get along amongst each each other. Management is the best part, they strive to solve problems in a timely, but meaningful manner. There is always 1 manager on duty at the hotel during the day, they are very easy to talk to and they are very understanding if you ever happen to have an emergency. The benefits are nice, and the wage is fair.

I enjoyed working there. Friendly co workers and lovely HR. I will recommend someone to work there and I will love to work there again. It was fun working there
