Desk Team is great. Departments care greatly about the hotel but upper, upper management does not. Problem solving skills need to be improved and the hotel is in desperate need of renovation
Free lunch during day shift
GM is an idiot
You work independently and alone in the workplace. The stressful indicators can be the guests that come in, because you get all sorts of people there. You do have to work full hours, because there were rarely any part time workers. The top managers were great and very respectful and helpful if you needed anything. The only 2 reasons I quit was because you never know who to expect to come in and how they're going to react, and because I enjoy working in teams not by myself. I would recommend working here, but only if you are okay with the two reasons I couldn't.
I hated this job, when my brother got sick everyone started treated me terrible. I tried to book days off because I had medical appointments but they made it difficult so I was forced to quit and then got fired 3 days later. I have never been so disrespected in my entire life

It is a good environment, where the point is to give good attention to the client who is satisfied with the treatment from the entrance of the hotel until when he leaves it, leaving a good impression so that in the near future he returns to the hotel

Hotel hours suck you may finish a shift at 11:30pm and start at 6:00am the next day. The director was verbally abusive to some employees. The pay was ok. Culture sucks not a happy place to work everyone was negative and hates working there
Work alone do a lot of work but its pretty routine and simple. Good place to work for super junior people but Id suggest doing internships rather than working at a hotel during your summer
slow times where you can study/chill
being employed here at first was so much fun but after a few management roles being moved around it finna got ran down and a bit corrupt. the pay is not bad for the position either
i understand that hotels can overbook, but it puts pressure and stress on agents who have to deal with the customers who booked but dont have a room reserved for them all because they want the most sales. customers can get pretty nasty even when being explained to them clearly that we honestly dont have rooms for them. and for the reason being. for someone who is very sensitive, this job isnt for you. but if you want to work on your profession customer service handling skills and problem solving skills, this is the perfect opportunity.
50% off meals at the hotel restaurant
management doesnt care about you
Love the staff Love the location The GM is kind and caring and personable. Management is effective and efficient while always taking the time to help and explain something you may have never handled to date. Generally very positive and happy environment.
Free meal, Great GM, Management, Location
This was a great job with great people. The hours were not flexible but the people made it amazing. The job was a great balance of fun and busy, paperwork and communicating with guests.
The staff and pay
