Yes it was a good job very clean coworkers were very helpful. There was always overtime when needed the boss was very understanding and was def good to work with.

The owners are micro managers to say the very least. They don't respect personal space and will constantly cross your personal boundaries. To say they were patronizing is an understatement. They will be rude to you just to be rude to you. You will never have good people because as soon as you get someone dependable on the team they take them to one of the other 5/6 hotels they own. Oh and this place is covered in mold like in the walls covered.

Nice place to expanded my career trying to help and any areas is possible take care 100% busy hotel so check out and check in was a challenge but we make happen whit the staff included deep cleaning 20 rooms x week.

Overall I enjoyed working as a housekeeper at holiday Inn, only thing I wasn't a fan of is the long hours you sometimes out have to put in. Good pay tho

This job was pretty boring. You have to stand for 8 hours straight at a desk at the same spot and won’t be allowed to us a chair. Management was very nice and kind made the job very nice. Guest okay and can be rude sometimes.

Management is great, try to help you succeed. Will work to provide your requested days off, supervisors help you complete your tasks,if you fall behind. They give raises often.

The GM is great ,very supportive.The owners are distant.Short on staff most of the time.Hard place to get people to stay.Location is next to the highway , the hotel is very busy place .

first few months were good, no problems, everyone was comfortable including myself then new boss came, fired good people, worked 7 days a week alone.

Worked there for 2 years and saw the management get progressively worse. Ive had a really bad time working here in the pandemic there was no say given about shifts we were just expected to be always be able to work as we were in lockdown. Due to covid they combined lots of job roles together to make the GSA role (Guest Service Assistant) this was so they could have less staff on to enable social distancing so we could be safer at work. This would’ve been perfect however working with reduced staff doesn’t work if you don’t reduce the number of customers you let stay. This has been the main problem of working here the past 6 months as the hotel was fully booked atleast 2 days a week with key workers and because of covid everything has more steps to ensure the safety for the guests (this usually meant 3 staff members while over 90 guests in house). This was just one of the issues I decided to speak up about with management but was very quickly told to “toughen up” this took a real mental toll on me as being in lockdown work was the only thing I had to do and management consistently made me feel like I wasn’t doing a good enough job. There was a clear divide between GSAs and management as we all had the same issues that management consistently refused to acknowledge. This has lead to 3 of us leaving within a month of each other.

In a few words, not conductive for career development.1. Poor leadership, they do not look for solution they look for someone to be at fault. You are not able to solve problems because you walk a thin line and it would be the blame game if you make a mistake.2. Owners are heavily involved and the hotel leadership is at their mercy because of that the Holiday Inn experience is not felt, fake smiles leads to fake service.3. The build of the hotel is poor, too many problems and too many design flaws leading to complains and as a result leads to a dreadful customer experience.

Worst experience I've ever had. There were many red flags since day 1 but I thought it was just me. I should have trusted my gut and left sooner. Toxic management, poor work/life balance.

Toxic work environment. Upper management incompetent. Employees were fantastic. Corporate Food & Beverage directors not too bright. Did not care to run regional foods. Slave to the Corporate menu.

Great experience loved my manager and my peers. Hospitality can be stressful but also exciting. Awesome benefits, but you do have to ask for it. Overall great

They are very understanding and when your behind on something they will send someone to help you. They are on top of everything and give u free food.

Was a lovely place to work, had an absolute laugh with guests and some staff Management very poor, they let certain staff get away with way too much until it all came to blows, new management just as bad, no staff value at all

It was a great experience to say the least. The job can be very difficult at times but I made the best with what I had. If you are in need of a job this is the place to go

I like holiday inn. I learned a lot. There are many holidays in a year - Christmas, Christmas, and hannukah. all of these are celebrated by guests at holiday in.
