The headguard didn't really make me feel respected or secure. I didn't feel comfortable with all the gossip that the headguard liked to spread. I always felt anxious and nervous everyday before work because I felt that the headguard didn't give me the same respect I showed her. I really felt like an unwanted member.

A great place to work if you don’t mind giving up your life. Management is unable or unwilling to work with lower level workers and is childish. A good work family setting until they ice you out and decide they no longer want you as a part of their clique.

Not a fun place to work, the Management's are harsh and abusive to the staffs.

The Management hired many staffs especially peak season or whenever the staffs went for holiday's break and fired staff whenever they like or in probation period. NO proper trainings and assistance from Management only discouragement or Insult. Basically 95% foreigners are work permit holders and 5% Canadian in the workforces.

Everything is great, but payrate and workload is not fair. Bonus, medical insurance, free breakfast, paid vacation. Managing team is good though, sometimes is is stressful.

They refuse to pay above minimum wage but expect a lot. Tips are not good overall in the restaurant so it’s hard to want to stay. You need a second or third job but the scheduling is so erratic you cannot

I worked at the holiday inn Kingston waterfront. Overall my worst job experience ever. The management was very poor, and the staff were all rude and gossipy. At one point I was puton sick leave and they said it was job abandonment and didn’t have me back. Would not recommend working here unless you want back breaking work, long hours and just over all a head ache and stress

Worst Management ever. They expect good results but not willing to pay you enough. Seldom you will get 8 hours working even if your work load is equivalent to 8 hrs of work and beyond. They don’t wanna see you idle or you will be sent home. Worst management trio.!

The F&B supervisor misled me on tips income. The place is not organized, dirty and most of those that "work" there are inept and lazy. Most of them are constantly late and when they get there, they refer to their phones to talk, text or play games. They, if not doing the afore mentioned, they engage in personal conversations in personal and inappropriate conversations and making unsubstantiated comments about others, which includes things and matters of personal life style. Management provides "lip service" about policy and standards but would rather ignore and get rid of problems other than solving them.
