Weird management

It's not a place where you're gonna be appreciated for a hard work. They only care about what big bosses would think. Guests are definitely not a priority. There are also some toxic people among staff who are tolerated by HR.

Honestly, stay away from this hotel. The most mismanaged and systematic messed up hotel I’ve ever seen. Even if you want to do good and fix things, it’s impossible because things keep getting messed up.

During Interview with GM was told about Hilton discounts when I asked for discount after working for 8 mths was told NO DISCOUNT because I hadn’t done enough hours yet I was hired as part time banquet server!!! So why mention it in an interview? Bait & hook tactics. Management also has obvious favourites, beware!

I liked working there. Just left because I got a better opportunity during day time. In the start your schedule can be a little mess but it is normal I guess, got go through it and you will be fine.

Great workplace environment, staff gets $100 every month to buy in the cafeteria or lunch. Hotel discounts and you can learn a lot of things from working breakfast buffet, banquets, etc.

The job is okay management doesn’t care about you if you make one mistake they put you to the cross. Only good thing you do not have manager on overnight but they expect you to make final decisions without proper pay.
