My friend recommended me to work here, because of the long haul. You don't get a lot of home time but that's how the job is done. Anyway, you can create your own schedule and your manager, as well as dispatches will be supportive and helpful. Trucks are all in good condition. It is a pleasure to drive them!

Payment is always on time, you can set its frequency, so it suit your schedule. Shifts are also flexible. Dispatch and management teams are very helpful and supporting. Overall, excellent experience!

I like that at HMG everyone help each other. The job can be really stressful at times, the last thing you want to hear talking to dispatch is angry or sad tone of voice and these guys did their best to make my loads comfortable.

I found HMG in the worst time of my life and this job actually helped me a lot. I travelled a lot if I can call it so and gained money for it. The job isn't as easy, as you think, yet the payment is fair and I was able to fastly cover my debts and even make it in + in the shortest time possible.

Love HMG and my truck

In general, I like HMG. There are a lot of space for improvement, especially in dispatch-driver segment, but as I heard from my friends, it is a common problem. Trucks are great, no slipper seats, it actually doesn't feel bad sitting in them for 9+h a day.

The same wage per mile for the entire time I was there ,despite multiple requests for a raise. They withdraw ,a $50 , so called "insurance " from drivers paycheck. Basically stealing . They raised mine to $250 recently and never explained why . Also removed my 2 cent safety bonus. You will be doing city work ,multiple drops , in the L.A and San Francisco Bay area among other places , yet paid the same per mile rate and not the usual ,city driver , per hour rate. They don't clean spare trucks when your regular truck is offline for repairs even when you notify them several days before your trip . Overall just an unpleasant place to work at . Only stayed this long for the great mileage, 5000 miles +, and HL's proximity to where I live.

I enjoyed the company. They gave me a start when no other company would. I left due to the ridiculously low rate of pay. As well as the dispatch and customs department. Stuck at borders and truck stops withought pay.
