No hours are set and expected to work more
If you go in with an open mind - and have good work ethic, are not afraid of getting dirty or working with animals you will do well.
There are two primary roles - Barn Ops and Crew Workers - Barn Operators attend to the birds and animals welfare such as feeding, cleaning, bedding nests. While Crew positions perform harder activities such as transfers and bird weights. I'd recommend starting as a Barn Operator if you are new to Agriculture.
If I was CEO of Hendrix Genetics I would do my best to travel to each location and check on employee moral as well as see if I couldn't increase wages to make them more competitive to other industries - that way Hendrix could retain higher amounts of employees instead of losing them to higher paid positions.
