Great people and work culture with a lot of learning opportunities. Intern culture is a good size at usually around 16 interns during the summer and 5-6 in Winter and Fall terms.
Some divisions are not managed as good as primary division, if you expect a raise then you have to be on top of discussions with your managers, if you leave it up to them to provide your the money you deserve, you are not not going to get it, regardless of how hard you work.
Company culture was the best I've ever experienced with friendly colleagues, a supportive work environment and social outings. The tough part was project experience tended to get repetitive, at least in tenant, and the salary wasn't extremely competitive. But if you value a place to grow and great company culture over money, then this is a highly recommended firm to work at.
1hr Lunches, social events, laid back and supportive work environment
Salary not as competitive as other firms, but still very good
I was working with them as an intern. they had lots of great and huge projects and construction site reviews. I was an electrical design and drafter and they opened my visions to the new standards.

I enjoyed my summer at H.H.Angus as a mechanical designer. I got to work on numerous projects that were very interesting and was able to contribute to the mechanical design of commercial buildings
tough to learn because of company size as a coop student

H.H. Angus and Associates Ltd consulting Engineers is a great firm to be a part of. All staff members are very helpful and hard working. Every
I worked at H.H Angus as a co-op student and my typical day at work included emailing managers about the updates on projects, also emailing clients and contractors about the update from their end. I learned about how consulting firms operate and what are the responsibilities associated with a construction project from beginning to completion. I worked in commercial and Health Care department with a team of 8 people in each department. The team included three professional engineers, four designers including myself and one team manager. The hardest part of the job was to hunt for work during slow days. The most enjoyable part of the work was AutoCAD and to attend lunch and learn presentations.
