Where do I start, probably the part where hard work gets you nowhere in this company and if they don’t like you they will find any reasons to say you’re not a good fit while just trying to save money by not paying for employee benefits or pay raises. Much easier to hire a batch of temps that can do the same easy job for a fraction of the cost. If you have any dignity you would not come here to work after reading the majority of reviews.
A typical day at work requires you wear PPE and dress warmly as it is very cold while working on any of the 4 lines that you may be on. The hardest part of the job is working in one spot for long periods of time, therefore your body gets stiff and you need to remember to stretch before work and during when lines go down for maintenance. Its a very repetitive past paced job that can be a bit boring and tiresome at times. its very easy work if you can handle repetitive work.
As working with Grand Rivers food company i felt i have learned how to work with a group of people. As, everybody had their own particular job to do, i have learned how to operate machines as well as how to maintain cleanliness.
