Store Manager in Greater Toronto Area, ON
“Change is the only constant.”
In principle the Organisation has a very positive mission statement however it falls short on delivery when it comes to employees.
Being acknowledged, appreciated, and rewarded needs to be as important as taking care of customers to motivate employee contribution, productivity, and thinking outside the box.
A big positive is the organisation is sensitive to personal situations and will accommodate a genuine need if the occasion arises.
Employees must be aware 'one can't keep the cake and eat it too'.

Would not go back
Management are only filling holes They bring in inexperiencrd managers to run there stores. Management force good employees to leave to suit the way they want to run the store.

Waste of time.
The training was absolutely trash. The “trainer” had no patience, and was full of attitude, also she likes to hover over you. It was a very uncomfortable.
Working at Grafton Apparel was a very negative experience for me. It was a hostile environment that did not welcome new ideas. I would not recommend a position here. They do not encourage work/life balance.
in a busy environment, you need harmony and teamwork. helping and cheering each other for the sake of a better task output and a pleasant relationship with all the staff/coworkers. but sorry, you cant find it here.
