From 815 to 430 you are really really busy all day.
There are not enough hours in the day - is something we would always say.
You definitely earn your paycheck.
80% paperwork - maybe more
Short staffed big time and staff are overloaded and running on fumes with all the files needing support asap
Lots of driving. Some weeks you are on the road more than in the office.
You typically work through lunch on a regular basis or after hours and have to ask to work OT - and you can be told no to OT, depending on Supervisor. So if your in a meeting that is going late (after 430pm), and you are told no to OT, do you just get up and leave?? Never got an answer to this question but was never told no to OT. It's just implied to staff that the option to be told no to OT is there.
Administrative Management issues are a huge huge problem and its known throughout the GOA, yet nothing ever happens to support these offices with these toxic individuals abusing their "power" and it impacts the rest of the staff on a daily basis!!
People were afraid to speak up because of how manipulative and toxic a certain individual was and staff were worried about the repercussions that would come from this specific woman if they complained.
It may be different now but I doubt it
Lots of great people that work there though, my immediate team was awesome as well as many others from other offices!
Lots of great people also left in my time there...
