Si après les problèmes avec le virus il réengage, c’est entre 80 000$ et 90 000$ par année facile. C’est tout une job, faut être débrouillard et prêt à travailler beaucoup d’heures. Les journées débute entre 3:30 et 6:00 et l’assignation est envoyée par email la veille vers 19:00

Great company to work for, very fast paced. There is always room for improvement (specifically in the entire food service industry and the quality of loads for manual delivery drivers. The company cares for their customers.

Management is generally disconnected from the team on the floor. Lots of downtime from old, worn out equipment. Senior workers given excessive privilege and leeway. Lack of advancement opportunities for newer employees. Most of the team is actively looking elsewhere

I worked in an emerging market so I was exposed to a lot of learnings and experiences that I would not have had if this had been a well established facility.As a result I knew most of the leadership team well and learned/supported different areas of the business. I was able to travel quite a bit for training and to support food/trend shows.Development is a focal area for the company. GFS invested a lot in programs to skill up leaders. I was exposed to leadership philosophies that really became the base of how I lead today. The organization was truly vested in my professional growth.

I only got two days a week when I asked for all days available besides Sunday due to church, they scheduled me every Sunday every week, the one day I asked for off, the scheduling manager is lazy and doesn’t even wanna be at his job, everyone’s average hours were two days a week besides full time, which people have to work there for 1-2 years before getting, the only benefit you receive is 10% off and I worked their for 3 months and only got a break once, he would schedule me 15 minutes less of 7 hours and 30 minutes I would be scheduled to work 7 hours and 15 minutes, this would be a great job if they got a new scheduling manager that cared about employees, every manager besides the scheduling manager was awesome and a pleasure to work with

Ok it was ok could be better. Need better manager and better equipment. Switch up the weekends so everyone van be off at least one weekend. And pay more.

Its is a physically challenging job for the delivery driver. But worth it with how much you make. Excellent management. I would definitely recommend anyone to work here.

Overall it’s a ok place to work and get experience, multimillion company, but during covid it showed it’s true colors about how much they care about their drivers. Pay is low compare to competition, management was pretty understanding and good, but should listen to their drivers more. Again food service will burn you out quickly.

GFS is a great company as a whole. In my time there I felt like upper management was detached from feasible expectations. Direct managers were fantastic and offered many layers of support. It is a performance job. Compensations and benefits are more than fair.

Family-owned and operated company with a great culture. Business was negatively impacted by the pandemic due to restaurants closing, but all was handled very professionally and safely. Great benefits package.

OverallGreat Job. Enjoyed it immensely. Worked around my schedule and it was aam easy job to enjoy. Would do it aagain at any moment. Was really a good foodservice job. No late nights etc

When I first started at gfs I really liked it. I liked the people that I worked with and I like my management staff. Then after the first two years everything started changing. Our manager left and our new manager was horrible. Then other management left and there was just e revolving door of managers/assistant managers. In the five years I was there we had five different managers and around ten new assistant managers (two assistant managers at a time). The district manager would randomly show up and just watch us for hours. It was very unorganized and I feel like they were trying to shut down our location and trying to find an excuse to do so with all the manager turnaround. It's an ok job if your a highschool student but passed that I would get out as soon as possible. Love the people I worked with and made life long friends, but I miss the people not the place.

I started here in 2018 as a FreshX Driver which is Gordon Food Service's sub division. The fleet for fresh X is supposed to consist of smaller trucks (Hino) etc. I was paired with a trainer who lacked patience. The trainers get an additional $100- $150 a day to train you and do it for extra money and not because they care to see you succeed. (It could have been my trainer alone). By the second or third day, my trainer was getting frustrated that I did not know the correct way to stack items on the dolly. Keep in mind, this was my first job driving a vehicle that size & first week at the company, trying to remember everything can prove to be overwhelming. about 6 days into work & they pull out a Frieghtliner and told me " You can drive this It's a grey area". The truck had air brakes & I was unaware that you as the driver can be finned heavily for driving a vehicle such as this without a DZ endorsement or MINIMUM Z endorsement on your license. A typical day I found would consist of about 15 - 20 stops all over the GTA. Some drivers were delivering to Starbucks and easy store fronts however, FreshX drivers were made to carry dolly's of excessive weight, up and down skinny stairwells and hard to reach places. They let people into the company easy but you'll notice they are always hiring as the company has a revolving door. They will incentivize you to work hard there and they will pay for you to get your AZ license but I found most people I spoke to there, did not last that long. It's about 20% Driving and 80 % delivering. Unloading the trailers from top to bottom front to back.

The Job was easygoing with friendly employees who were helpful at all times the lack of employees is where the flaws took place. The job became frustrating with the amount of team members we had. A lot of employees found it inconvenient to come and so they couldn’t work most of the time so I would have to cover for them a lot.

This was the most horrible job I have ever had!! Everything is so heavy and has to be packed by stop order and of course everything comes down your line out of order. Also when things are damaged in transit it comes out of your own pocket!! Also only one 40 minute break (maybe) some days no break. Just sucked overall I was personally miserable

GFS lost red robin contract, closed Pottsville PA, Money loss per case, huge payment to keep workers. Many workers compensation claims. New warehouse to Aberdeen 120% turnover. I am getting screwed for unemployment benefits. The truth on covid-19 layoff as a driver do not have any CbD limits. The director in Aberdeen he is alright made the biggest mistake of terminating me. Another big loss my friend. I pray for you Amen. New drivers a year driving experience not bad expect to bust your butt.

Working at GFS has been a journey. The pay is great along with the monthly and yearly incentive checks. I will say it is a highly fast paced and stressful job. Some days you just want to walk out.
