Avis d'employé sur Tigre Géant
Giant tiger was a very slow pace job I didn’t really enjoy it that much,I definitely wouldn’t work there again, but the employees are very welcoming and makes it kinda interesting to work with them

When I first started, it was the best! Everyone got along, helped each other out and we were just a tight knit family. A few years after and now it’s every dept for themselves and all managers only care about their team and no one else. The department managers play favouritism so much that if you’re not on they’re good side....WATCH OUT! The store manager is the worse. Good person in general, but as a manager. The worse! Barely at work and goes against so much policy. Defends the bullies in the store. Attendance means nothing. So if you miss 11, 12, 13x...no worries. You won’t get in trouble. But for the workers who are loyal and come to work everyday. They have to work harder because a few people keep missing. Just very toxic, high school all over. Lots of gossip goes around and everyone watches each other like a hawk and rats each other out to their favourite managers. Can’t trust anyone.
The few people you can count on
Too many to name
The employees you will be working with are quality for the most part. They really make the job a lot more enjoyable. The hardest part of the job was probably the heavy lifting, or during holiday seasons when the store gets super busy.
Free lunches sometimes (pretty often honestly), Fair Hours
Expected to work very many shifts a week
I think everyone should work retail at some point. It teaches patience and tolerance. When you know how it feels to be the customer service person, you learn to treat those that serve you with respect and understanding. The GT I work at is very much a family. We are made up of diverse personalities and backgrounds. Everyone is a little weird, and yet, it somehow works very well as a whole. I know the atmosphere differs from location to location, so I can't speak for all Giant Tigers - just my own.
