Introducing Get Assist - the social media site that is changing the way people connect.
We started in 2015, in Calgary, Canada, and as of today, we have 5 offices in Canada and a recently launched office in Phoenix, United States with our eyes set in the United Kingdom.
GetAssist is growing in massive scale and look to being global within the next 5 years!
Everyone at GetAssist LOVES their job. We all believe in GetAssist and see the benefits on people and businesses everyday. It is really easy to have fun at work when a manager often walks in with doughnuts or cake for everyone. Keeping up with the culture is easy and always good energy.
For sales people, there is daily incentives and games for cash and trips. One example is the Calgary office having a basketball hoop, and if you sink the ball from the established floor line, you could get up to $100 cash!
Our CEO, Bruce Fikowski, is a successful serial entrepreneur, with over 30 years of small business and management experience. Truly, he knows what he is doing and being around him as a mentor is huge for professional growth.
Bruce Grew up in Olds, Alberta, a small Alberta town, focused on building close connections and community. Bruce carries these family, and tight knit values into GetAssist where employees are always heard and in a supportive environment. Bruce rarely has his door closed, and while running around, loves to randomly bring in unexpected treats.
Our employees categorize Bruce as down to earth, exciting, and personable. He is often seen talking to staff and has a surprisingly good memory for remembering what's happening in your life.
Here at GetAssist, we believe if you put in the work and get the results, you should be rewarded for so. No caps, no hold back, just growth. Many of our sales managers have started as sales associates and have worked their way up to managers and team leaders.
As GetAssist expands and grows, our need for leaders and managers grows with it. If you have drive, initiative, and a willingness to learn, your career here at GetAssist is uncapped in the potential for greater opportunities.
We work in a team environment where you will be mentored and supported to be successful.
If you are looking for a new career and have no previous sales experience, that is no problem! We offer comprehensive training and career development and support.
The old adage: "Train a person to fish...." If you've got drive, and you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the craft, and you will be able to fish forever
Hello from Bruce and Kim Fikowski. We’re the founders of GetAssist. What’s happening? We’ve created a new application called GetAssist that can help make life easier for everyone, even you.
Like most people Kim and I are busy, busy, bees.
Finding someone to help with home maintenance, staying tuned to our business, engaging our associates, participating in our HOA, or simply staying up to date and engaged with what’s happening in our lives, our children’s lives and everything in between was involving multiple apps, phones, computer devices, email and the list goes on.
Why, given today’s technology, is this such an onerous task? Well, it’s not anymore. With our backgrounds in hospitality, small business and project management we set out to design an app that would help make our lives a little bit easier.
Long story short; Wham, bam...peanut butter and jam! “GetAssist” was conceived. GetAssist is an aggregation of business services and other features with a manageable social media concept, we call a “Community,” to make GetAssist one of the first, if not the first, to use social media purposefully.
GetAssist Communities are where like minded people can come together to share information, advice, ideas and engage with, or organize, any group of people for any purpose. They are also great places to get and give the kind of assistance that makes everyday life easier. When you need a hand, like finding someone to help with your lawn care, you simply make a GetAssist Request and submit it to either the Business, or Social, Community for help or referral.
Sound easy? It is, and it’s free for the Social Community and “grass roots inexpensive” for the Business Community.
Did we mention GetAssist Communities can be public or private? They can, and at GetAssist, private means private, membership by invitation only.
There’s too much to mention here but its well known social features, quick and easy access to the Business Community, ad free social networking, and the private, manageable social communities will make you a believer.
Oh yeah, GetAssist also has a newsfeed. It’s called the Grapevine and you decide what community content you want to see on a regular basis. Imagine that! – moins
