Le plan de développement de la compagnie à long terme et bon mets le personnel sur le plancher n'est pas former adéquatement il devrait faire passer des tests d'aptitude il s'apercevrait que c'est pas juste la jeunesse qui compte mais aussi l'expérience de travail accumuler

What is the best part of working at the company?The people were great and the operations manager is a great leader and wonderful manager but it's a lot of physical work and really fast paced. Can be stressful. A lot of responsibility. Not a bad job just very busy. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The trucks coming in all at the same time and having to speed and stage.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Stressful but the culture isn't bad.What is a typical day like for you at the company?It was busy right from hour 1. I set up cages for express then jumped in to help on the LTL side of the warehouse weighing and Staging. The busiest time is between 4 and 8. If trucks are late, throws everything off.

Comme je suiS née au Québec je n'ai pas d'accent.Je suis camionneuse de race noire madame me dit pourquoi je ne conduis as un autobus scolaire à la place?????? J'habite trop loin (15 minutes)En attente d'un autre candidat!!!!Pourquoi me faire perdre mon temps alors???Bref si tu es un homme blanc de souche vas-y autrement à éviter comme la peste

Stressful, poorly managed high turn over workplace

The morning shift has a lot of parcels coming in but between trucks can take a long time. During this time we usually clean, or do odd jobs. If you want to go to the washroom you have to ask. The 'lead hand' is unqualified and has no idea what they are doing. They start fights with the other people in the office and assume the worst right away. They act their age, by instead of talking directly to you they'll "DrOp HiNtS~", or call HR right away (from out of town). The actual job is fairly simple though, even though the signs telling you where to put things are usually wrong or have mistakes it's fairly easy to talk to the drivers instead and just do what they want. If you don't do what the drivers want they'll make your life awful, but if the lead hand finds out you are talking to the drivers and doing what they want the lead hand will make your life awful. So good luck! :) I don't want to say when I worked there due to the high turnover rate, and having a whole new crew nearly every 3 months, they'll know who I am.

Good Place To Work

Being an owner operator, I came to the warehouse , sorted and loaded the packages, then headed out for the day to do my deliveries and pickups. As far as courier companies I would rate GLS above average for pay. I believe some other companies offered more compensation. Work load most of the time was reasonable. There were times when the volume did get to be too much but then came back to reasonable levels

Worked early mornings as a package sorter. Trucks bring in totes of packages and the sorters place them in the right bin for the proper route. Fast paced so the time goes by.
