Ça été très agréable de travailler avec GateStone! On ressent le support de la chef d’équipe et du superviseur. Les appels sont parfois stressants mais en général c’est très agréable.

Management-MICROMANAGING

Good workmates and job was alright. However it's when higher ups micromanage a team to the point that sometimes management have contradicting ideas making this job terrible.

Dialing customer to collect the debt they owe.Workplace culture is friendly. Transparent management. Hardest part is to meet the goals every month because every month is not as good as other one. Overall good place to work with supportive people around.

It was a fun place to work the staff are friendly. The management team were always willing to help. The hardest part of the job was not meeting your kpi due to issues not created by you or beyond your control.

Lots of opportunities

Great employer. Lots of opportunities to grow within the company. Offers WFH opportunities. The office is great and the coworkers is nice. Good ambiance.

horrible ,beaucoup de micro gestion a n en plus finir sur des futilité ,aucun support des gestionnaire, aucun contact, si ce n est que pour se faire reprocher de s être connecté en line 30 seconde après son shift lol

Do not work there !!! I repeat DO NOT WORK THERE

I was in management, and i saw the reality of this company, the management it self is a complete mess, i can’t disclose a lot, but please do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. I worked in a lot of call centres but this one is the worst.

Compétitif, sans merci pour les erreurs.

La durée de la formation rémunérée est absurdement long, donne beaucoup d'espoir et la carrière prend fin après quelques erreurs lors des premiers essaies. La culture donne l'impression d'être en compétions avec tout nos collègues et promet de la convivialité alors qu'il s'agit tout a fait du contraire. Le salaire élevé excuse quelque peu la situation mais je n'ai personnellement pas aimé travailler dans ce milieu.

Overall good place to work. Some colleagues can be a hassle and management doesn't do much but other than that it was a good place to work in general.

Can be good or very bad

It all depends on the boss you have over there, some departments has been great and professional and other has lack of leadership and micromanaging irrelevant stuff and not give a global understanding of how the information provided was helpful to the caller, they only care if you follow those stupid scripts or ''mandate of line'' as they say and penalize you for not helping a caller within the ''mandate of line'' (which is reading pdf and word documents from a ''database'' offered by Service Canada, your basically a robot that ask irrelevant question like their province and how they heard from us and proceed to give them general bullshit information (again, depends on which program you are, some are helpful). Its a good entry level call centre job if you want to learn more about the federal government programs and if you work in the right team but very dull if you don't.

Productive workspace

Worked with the passport program. Decent place to work, we had lots of coaching sessions which helped with job ability and improvements. was able to work remotely as well which was a plus

Very bad management, no body cares about you , you are just a number, no increment in salary after working more than 2 years , leaders also don’t know what they are doing

Very well managed, good advancement opportunities, everyone there is very nice. The job I had was long and boring unfortunately but I do regret leaving as it was a good company

Amazing part-time job

I worked remotely on a part-time basis. All the staff was very nice and accomodating and I enjoyed working with my team mates. As far as part-time jobs go it was gold. Def recommend.

Why are they always hiring?

If you thought: because no one works there for a long time, then you got it right! Working at Gatestone means not knowing how many hours a week you will work, or how much money you're gonna make.You will have to work automatically, like a robot and get a huge amount of calls per hour.You will deal with VERY frustrated clients who will yell at you and call you through worst names.You will be monitored 100% of the time and will be evaluated daily. Tell me about a strefull job...They will promess you many hours of work and all of a sudden will give an excuse for not scheduling you for days in a row.You might end at the doctor for psychological treatment.Just keep away from this company!

No prospects of advancement, very hard to reach HR , but otherwise very chill environment , supervisors are nice, and i have been working from home since 2021

Not worth staying

The experience was reasonable at the start, the company was fairly welcoming and it was a smooth transition from my last job. After the training though, it became clear that this was not a place for me and that was the turning point. Callers screaming at you all day long for unfufilled tasks we had absolutely no control over since we only provide information apparently even though the number callers call to is made for customer service or to help them recieve their payment or fix something on their account. Also other departments we have to transfer callers to simply don't respond. I'm not sure if it was because there's was not enough agents or their devices weren't working or something else. There's no reason to argue with management or supervisors about it, first of all, you'd be lucky to have them assist you but if they do, they'll tell you the same thing everytime "our mandate is...blablabla" and you're left to deal with enraged people that believe we have control over their payments or accounts even though we don't. Then there's this thing where we can program a "callback" if they really want to the callers can speak a program agent that has control and is responsible for their payments and their application settings so they can fix their issue but it the turn around time is 40 f*cking days for a program agent to call them then the callers all loose their temper.Coming from someone who isn't bothered that much by customer service jobs, it's absolutely ridiculous the mental gymnastics my mind had to make because of how unorganized everything was setup. That 40 day -

I do not recommand

I do not recommend this company to anyone if you want to maintain a healthy mental state, Upper management is the worst, your are just a number for them and they only care about your performance, They cut your hours and tell you that its the client demand but keep hiring employees anyway, Schedule preferences are a lie , Only good thing about the company is that my sup was Nice but he followed the Management bias.

Great place if you want to learn and grow. If you put the effort, and I'm not talking about working like crazy, you will have room to be promoted pretty quickly.
