Good place to start

It's is good to Start and pay is low.Good management team.Hybrid workplace.Recommend this place to start work and one can find more pay while working in bank as well.

Fun place to work. minimum pay but overall good staff.training is always good and fun .no growth opportunities, to be honest, nonstop calls and messages

Abuse

Reduce hours, more work with no pay increase, schedule preferences are just for shows, keep hiring employee when they can’t give us proper hours, supervisor are just there and not helping

Best Place I have ever worked

Gatestone is by far one of the best companies to work for. Aside from them being inclusive, diverse and accepting of everyone they also make you feel like a valued employee. Since day 1 my co-workers, team leads and bosses have been extremely welcoming and are always open to help and assist with questions I may have about my work. Since I started here months ago I've been able to learn, grow and develop my skills in recruitment. Those I work with is like having a second family and I am always happy to go to work. If you are looking for a place that will be more than just a job and want to be able to grow within your position or the company and have a career Gatestone is the place!

stressful job,poor pay,high expectations,All calls are new and you have to think A LOT for an almost minimum pay job to solve the issues,then again there is new call.then handling the customers and meeting expectations,overall very hard

You are just a number. Schedule is pathetic. Leaders and QA persons are not human in nature.

Do not go for this company instead apply some other call centre like concentrix and Nordia. Schedules and days off are not according to your preferences. Also very busy leadership. You will become leader if you are a friend of leader.

Hard place to work.

Terrible work environment. Management does not work with you on anything....moving up, training, time off, more hours etc. Management is not approachable.

The people I worked with management excluded are the only reason I stayed there for 4 years.

They claim they care about there employees yet they do not. Mid management will talk trash about you behind your back. They have denied vacation and PTO many many times. You are micromanaged obsessively. Bonuses are not easily achieved. They will change your numbers so you wont get bonus. They play favourites. You need a thick skin to work here. Clients are highly combative and abusive.

Easy to get started in Technical Support

Easy interview proprocess. Some of the leaders are helpful while others try to treat you like a dirt. Salary is barely minimum. There is 1:30 hour break.

Unprofessional company, poor management High work load 10-11 hrs shifts on daily basis without over time pay Make employees work 44 hrs week on base pay like 14-15 CAD $/ hr Very poor management and superior staff

stressful and fast paced. No time to even take a deep breath

Very bust and shifts are all over the place. One day you’re up until 3:30 am for work other time you are starting at 8 and it gets really messy. Customers are always angry and you have to hear for poor service by company. Quality of calls are judged by various factors and they are so partial. Don’t care about troubleshooting or issue resolved that much they care about how fake you can be and smile all the time. Not a real life scenario

All depends on the client, if they need will offer overtime if not then you will lack for hours They changed schedule many times after posting it and without noticeNo advancement for future, unless you want to be Team Lead with less pay ( Its on salary base where you work overtime but won’t get paid for that)Micro management - literally shadow your live calls and ask you to unhold or unmute etc ecen though you waiting for the support for 20 minutes (customers want to speak with supervisor very often)I can keep on going for this basically if you want to start career as customers service/technical support go for the experience

Realtime example of micromanagement

General sign of micro management are as follow, 1. Resist delegating work2. Become overly involved in the work of their employees3. Discourage independent decision-making4. Ask for frequent updates5. Expect overly-detailed reports on a regular basis6. Look at every detail rather than focusing on the bigger perspective7. Prefer to be cc'd on every email8. Find that team members are usually demotivated9. Feel that if a task is to be done right, you/they should do it themselves10. Continually monitor the behavior and activities of employees to see what they are working onAll of the above applies in gatestone

They do not even have Coffee on-site. The management is not the "worst" will always try to be as difficult as possible. They have KPIs that are impossible to keep up. Almost 70-80% of their employees do not meet their benchmark. Better to work anywhere else. Not worth dragging yourself for minimum wage. If the same job was for about $20 then it might be worth it for some. A definite No. Force them to increase their wages and stop exploiting employees for pay that is less than an unskilled labourer.

productive, competitive, fair and fun. and a lot of room for growth.

when I just started working at Gate stone I was a bit nervous as I felt it would have been difficult, training was awesome but when the time came to go on the phone that's where the nervousness came in, many days I wanted to quit but we have a management team that is a team of supporters, they took time with us, helped us in the areas where we needed help, the hardest part was when the customer's would call in irate and we have to calm them down and ensure them that the issue is going to be resolved. 1 thing I've learnt is that patience is the key to success. The most enjoyable part of my job to the get the customer's issues resolved, When the customer's are happy at the end of the call it makes me also happy. At Gate stone everyone is equal and that's what I love the most. Keep up the great work Gate stone. "proud employee"

Good staff is supportive management is poor.

Overall all good work experience. Working environment is good and they offered inner job posting. But there is no much improvement in salary. Work schedules is no proper some time.

Professional and Friendly working environment

I am working here and it is a great experience. Very Nice environment. I have learn so many skills. Helping customers is very satisfactory. Supervisors are very cooperative and always happy to help. When we work we work as a team. Assistance is always there.

A typical day at work would start of with checking for new updates and information from leaders. It is never a day with out learning. Management is always assisting with the improvement of leaders and agents.

Productive and Friendly Workspace

During my time here at Gatestone & Co, I have become advanced in call center ethics. Co workers are super collaborative. Everyone is always so willing to help so that the main goal can be achieved. Management is always so opened to suggestions. The environment is superb. It can become fast paced; however, it is not very stressful. I highly recommend Gatestone & Co if you are looking for a professional yet stress free place of employment.
