Why does there seem to be so much turnover in the accounting department at GAIN? They seem to always be looking for Controllers and Accountants.
Right now the GAIN Group is expanding and needing more Accountants and Accounting Assistants to work at the new companies that are joining the group, as well as assist our current staff. Before, 1 accountant would be responsible for multiple dealerships but now we are wanting to have 1 accountant per dealership. Because of this, we are looking for a lot of new employees in that department.
If you like being brought to tears at work after being yelled at, being forced to work after hours with no pay for making honest mistakes, or watching your supervisor throw heavy objects in frustration..this is the place for you.
They require the standard criminal record check, which you can obtain at your municipal RCMP station. They also require your drivers abstract.
What makes you the ideal candidate? How does your previous experiences, education, and work history prepare you for this role?
I feel promotions and wage increases are accessible at GAIN.
They promote form within the company and I was treated very well as an employee there
Very cheerful but you will think they passed you over because it take so long to get a call back
I have applied for a IT position like 20 days ago and i am still waiting for a 1st interview call. do you have any idea how much time does it take?
I waited longer than that for an interview, and then another 6 weeks before was offered the job. However, you might consider somewhere else. Management at GAIN is quite poor.
How long does gain group take to call after reference check? Do they notify if candidate gets rejected?
Really depends if the positions are open. They are constantly moving their employees upwards and so are always accepting resumes, however they cannot always offer all positions. I received a call back within a week for my first interview. My second interview was a month and a half later. My third interview was the next day, and I was hired.
