The hiring process at FH is extremely long for a job that pays slightly over minimum. It took well over a month from my first phone interview until I was actually scheduled for my first day on the job. I have heard from colleagues that it took even longer. If you are hard pressed for cash I wouldn’t count on a paycheck from FH until at minimum about a month after you application.
The only “Raise” to happen so far in the last 3 years of being a functional business was a 2% wage increase set in place - mandatory by the government for living costs. Friday Harbour will not go out of their way to show appreciation for excellence.

They don't want to hear feedback. It's their way or the highway. Don't both presenting any ideas. If they dind't think of them first yours will be dismissed.
Let people who know the roll, know the resort move up and create something worth while.
